Ugh, this site has been frustrating as hell this week. Restocking is jacked up again. Which means I'm not only not getting stuff to sell, I'm not getting cheap rares to frag (and I need over 1500 more crystals for that book). So now I have to quest right? WELL, NPC shops aren't showing up in shop searches (as if questing isn't annoying enough as it is). And it looks like they're not as many people questing now because of it - I've noticed less sales in my shop this week.
So... I'm down to vending. Which is not only as boring as questing, it's terrible for the economy. But what can I do? I need stuff to sell and frag.

Basically what I'm saying here: RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE! !@*$&%(#&@#$&!

I know! It's freaking ridiculous that the shop issues (and there are a multitude of them) haven't been addressed. Even a token "we're looking into it" would be nice at this point.

Questing wasn't bad for me today, but then I did them right after midnight. I usually do Item Quests, Shinwa, Library, and Quentin (because of the increased amulet drops). Library quests are hit or miss to begin with because of the weird prices. You've got super rares selling for under 5k, but then normals that are upwards of 50k. I did finish 12/15 today which was nice. Luck of the draw I guess. I was tempted to finish off Wizard quests, but I don't like not being able to access the NPC shops from shop search. Oh well; I've got an excess of tokens as it is anyway.

Yay Antique Shop! I think the prices might be a tad high, but I don't care. I'm just happy these items are available for purchase now. Makes me happy. We've been asking for this for a long time so I'm happy it's finally available.

The weapons are a bit ouch. I don't have enough and I have 2bil. I'm not sure what those weapons were running before, but I do know other god weapons sold for much more than these though. Time to go buy Ishka tons of books to read :D I'm happy they made a direct-to-pet read and feed option, I had just assumed only collection items would have go that route.

Edit: Make sure you check shop prices before buying. Some stuff is way cheaper in user shops!

The Antique Shop doesn't really hold much appeal for me as of yet. Maybe when they add the Reading Drive stuff I'll change my mind, but as of yet, no. I see no reason to plonk down that much on plushies/books/etc. I don't anticipate ever finishing the collections (except the easy ones like the carved pumpkins) and I'm not gonna go out of my way to actively try. It's just a casual thing for me.

I'm so glad that I bought my Maracaw back after the Hustler restocked them, years ago. Even if I'd missed it then and been wanting it for all this time, 112million would be a lot to drop on just one minion.

As it is, I was more interested in the book prices. Most of them are way over what I'm comfortable spending on a single-use item and that got me thinking about just how much I want to spend my time/effort on continuing my book collecting because it is beginning to get pricey now.

Then I checked my account worth to see just how much (roughly) all the books Ornithologist has read add up to. I think a part of my soul died when I saw the total. I wish I hadn't checked now.

I was away most of the weekend, so lots of fun stuff to come back to! Antique shop is pretty cool, I'm not bummed about the prices. They're expensive but they should be; it doesn't help that the Hustler jacked up the prices of a bunch of stuff along the way so some of it is totally unrepresentative. Not sure I'm gonna buy anything as I got most of the wears I wanted first go around. I think the collection items are really reasonably priced, actually. Wouldn't mind there was a way to earn a small, temporary buff which gave you a 3 - 5% discount. That'd be pretty cool and a nice incentive for people to spend.

And damn I need all the Delish sets released this year. Praying for a generous Black Friday, haha.

Actually really like the new Storm Magnus and Lasirus too. I thought I'd LOVE the colour but I've honestly been a bit underwhelmed by it thus far. :B I find it really dark and often hate the garish salmon accent they insist on using (see: the Archan) and storm tails (see: the Popoko) which take away from the colour, imo.

There's a few more stickers (okay, 100) in my trades if either of you guys wouldn't mind helping!

wow...it's been quiet in here for a couple months now! Did everyone get in on the quest for extra pet slots action?

I did. It was a pretty cool thing for them to offer.

I thought it was a fun little event. It was kinda nice seeing the community all come together and work towards something rather than every man for himself. Don't know what I'm going to do with the extra slot yet but at least I can try and help friends with clearings and what not now.

Plus lord knows I need all the Quest Points I can get so this really helped push me to do all my quests everyday!

Edit: I also love how pet Leashes are a GA feature now. I've never seen so many pets on the forums and it's fantastic :D

Quest-a-thon was pretty fun! I made Kyrgyzstan the Paralix. Not sure what to do with him at the moment. Maybe zap for an experiment; I'm trying to zap Economy into a 404 and turn him Chibi at the moment. Not working out so well! I've done a few of the 400k zaps but I'm trying to be conservative.

I've really got into restocking recently though. I think Neo scarred me on that front; it's actually pretty fun and relaxed here, very easy to grab nice items now the captcha has vanished. I'm just rotating between three shops at the moment but I've grabbed plenty of nice things. Quest-a-thon came at the perfect time. I reached 50 pages of my shop so snagged a 1 week GA and autopriced. Think I've made about 200m from my haul thus far. I'm closing in on 1 bil so I'm going to keep saving. Might be a while before I get there, though!

I used my new pet slot to create Bassoon, but I don't know what I'm going to do with him yet. I've kind of had a one-colour-one-species thing going on but I've run out of all the fancy colours except for nightmare, and I was already saving that for Otamatone.

I'm actually creeping closer to 1 bil myself. I'd been working on the maximum vending achievement so that filled my shop up quite a bit, but now it's down to just 400 items or so so it'll be awhile. For now I'm just trying to get all the questing achievements. (Anyone know what to do with a billion sp if I want to do Sarah's?)

I have up on ever getting to do Sarah's quests. I have a little over 2 bil and yeah no where to stash it. , Maybe we can get together and hold onto each other's sp while we do the quest? They got rid of the limit cap so moving around 2bil isn't as risky as it used to be, other than risk of theft I guess. Too bad the sp vouchers only go up to like 10k!

I might not have sp left for much longer though hah. Buying up tons of forum points and mc center stuff.

50 pages of shop stuff!

wow! I'm impressed.

I decided to spend a rainy weekend creating some new pets and take a good look at some of the minions that the existing ones have (several of my pets still don't have the perfect match) It was pet clean up time!

I started by checking my vault for minions that I already have and realized I had 11 unsorted pages in my vault. So I got distracted and started cleaning up my vault. (partly) So now my vault is sort of sorted, I read loads of books to my battle pet ( he gained 5 alchemy points) I added 3 pages of stuff to my shop (to be autopriced later) And I thought that was quite a lot! ;)

I finally decided to make a new pet and also use the 3 loyalty boxes I still had. (Because I found some names and names go fast!) I also wanted to change the name of one of my pets, but that would have left me with an uneven number of pets, which I apparently hate... So no name change but 4 new pets: Coral Reef (to be made glade, unsurprisingly), Daen (currently zapping for a possible nice experiment), Finou, already turned into a nostalgic Legeica and Tundar a Noktoa that is either going to be turned glade, reborn or storm.

Problem is, I have one glade potion still in my vault, but as it turns out I also have a storm and reborn potion laying around. So I'm leaning towards turning Tundar glade (so pretty) but it would be handy if I fell in love with either of the other 2 options.

So I still haven't sorted all the colours out, spend way too much time cleaning up a non existing vault instead of my actual appartement and have yet to make a decision on those #@%& minions (of course)

I did, however, finally reach tier 8 with my battlepet! ( have been able to use that rapier, yay!)

So of to do some wizard quests: zapping costs tokens! :D

If you place your sP as a bid on a trade it counts it as 'missing' from your account so you can do her quests. I've been looking to do them as well actually. I wouldn't mind setting up a ring with you guys. :P If we each put up a dormant lot so the others can 'hold' their sP it'd work.

That sounds like a fun plan to me. What's the upper limit on Sarah's quest?

Edit: Sorry to say it doesn't look like that is the case :( I deposited all but 35k into the trades and it Sarah still said I had to much sp. I went to my account preferences and it said all I had was the 35k too but Sarah wasn't buying it.

Huh yeah, it looks like they've changed it. :( I'm sure it used to work that way.

I don't mind holding onto any sP for a while - only takes a few minutes to complete the quests - but it'll have be when we're online.

Or we could accept and then offer the sP back immediately - then accept when we've finished the quests. That's probably the easiest way and leaves the least confusion.
