I just finished buying Menagerie stuff. I found the second wave pretty disappointed compared to the quality of the first. Too much partycrasher stuff, don't really like the art bar the corsets, which might be handy.

Has anyone seen Boudewijn yet? Last year I duelled a few times and now he just seems not to exist.

So how did everyone fare in the end? I've been in Sweden over the weekend but hopefully managed to return any outstanding dances! Didn't manage to get back til late last night - the boyfriend managed to make us miss our flight D: which is a first - but the airport had free wifi so managed to sneak on and blitz through the last minute invites!

I will have to accept a few dances next year I see. Now I have to figure out if I have enough tokens for the last stuff I need.

...well that news about the shops just murdered any enthusiasm I have for anything.

I get 100 items in my inventory before I even finish half the daily quests. Most of that goes to the shop or my food gallery. A single day of questing will absolutely make me hit the limit everywhere, every day, especially since I can't PAY for a GA right now due to more pressing obligations (like getting a computer that doesn't overheat when I look at it funny).

Hahaha I just moved all of my stuff from my hoarder gallery to my sales shop (in the hopes I can get rid of some of the crap in there before the limits are implemented) and I have 5000+ unique items. No way I can get rid of all of these. Plus since I fluctuate between having a GA and not (since I work full time and some weeks between GAs I'm just too busy to play) I'm going to fluctuate between 250 and 500 items I'm allowed to sell, and I can't even autoprice anything. So annoying.

The massive difference between regular limits and GA limits is dumb too. I swear it seems like fucking everything is tied to GAs now, and shops is such a fundamental thing that it just reeks of pay-to-win garbage to tie even how many items you can have now to it, on top of the Autopricer, CHARGING YOU TO USE THE AUTOPRICER, etc.

I think the need for a GA has lessened, if anything. I don't see much point in running one these days. I'll pick up a 1 week GA to autoprice my quest loot every few months but otherwise don't see the perks.

And yeah, the limit is totally ridiculous. They've said they'll increase it but it's going to have to be sizeable! I have about 3.4k unique items at the moment but it isn't hard to hit over 5k if you're consistent with quests. The limit of 250 does feel a little... out of touch.

I'm just gonna post what I said on the feedback thread for the new shops and leave it at that. I don't usually get this upset over site changes but I just ugh.

Years ago it was said that limits would be put in place and I agreed whole heartily even if at the time I had nearly 34k unique items. So I gave up on the Hoarder achievement and started selling all my stuff. I sold nearly 25k unique items. That meant I spent two years going through every single item one by one and moving it over to my shop to sell. I have just under 10k items out now and that's 4k over the limit. And that isn't even counting my shop that has 1.3k items in it, and my food to be fed gallery that has 500 items.

So fuck this. I spent two years selling shit to get ready and I'm still getting screwed over.

I get why we need limits but these are too low by far. Hell the non GA shop limit of 250 items is like what, two days of questing worth of stuff? Like seriously? And unless auto-pricing is going to be changed to once per shop per day then I can't even sell the crap I get from questing then.

I'm just so insanely frustrated and upset right now. What the hell is the point in the site having so many items if I can't keep them? I understand limits I really do. But there has got to be a middle ground between free for all and practically no space.

Plus I have no faith that when the new shops come live my old ones will still be intact. I fully expect the site to eat my items or just flat out delete my shops/galleries.

Oh and I will bet money that despite these changes, buying from the Shop Search in Chrome still won't work. Aka still locking out people who use one of the most popular browsers in the world because for some damn reason your code isn't standards-compatible.

So to recap: Questing is already seriously annoying because of the Shop Search issues with Chrome (and I'm NOT going to run two browsers at the same time to go on one site - this isn't 1998 anymore); Questing is also seriously annoying due to the inventory limit which means that after every set of quests, I have to manually add stuff to collections or put them in my shop; And now on top of that, I'll be stonewalled by the shop limit too

It's almost like they don't WANT me to play the site.

It's pretty insulting and if it goes through like this it will drive me from the site. They won't consider it a loss.

However, is there a Chrome bug with shop search? I've been questing normally for months with Chrome.
