So was anyone else here affected with the Stocking script glitch on Christmas?

I got hit with it :( The events themselves broke the site for me and I could barely get it to function long enough for them to get deleted so I could actually use the site. Then I went and deleted all the items like we were supposed to.

I just found out that the people who were affected with the glitch might not know you sent them presents =/ I hope that's not true - I want to thank people! Of course I also hope I'm going to get my presents back at all. I've disappeared from people's gifts list and with the time it's taken and lack of any news post I'm worried they might be gone for good. Boo :(

I wasn't hit by the glitch since the site was down by the time I woke up. But I just checked out the gift sent page and it's missing about half of the people I sent gifts to :/ I'm going to be very pissed off if it doesn't get sorted out, since I spent a considerable amount of SP on gifts this year.

I was very late doing subeta shopping this year. It looks like I will be a completely anonymous gifter this year but at least gifts will arive.

I was affected by the glitch too. I had about 500 items to delete, mixed in with a fuller-than-usual inventory. The site was so laggy, pages were timing out - it was annoying and took me almost an hour during a busy holiday day.

I also made a point to not really look at the items or who sent what, because I wanted to be surprised when trees finally opened. I wish I would've saved the hundreds of events that I got.

I made a list of items that I gifted people. I might comment people just to be sure that they got the items I sent.

I think I read that it only affected people whose user IDs are below 150k (mine is 48736).

That was the general consesus but my user id is 155383 and I got the glitch so maybe closer to 160k or so for the id.

Here is the link to that page but unfortunately it won't do much good if you were wanting to check what gifts you gave affected people. They don't show up on there :(

No I wanted to see if any gifts were stil logged there . Turns out some are, but not every person I gifted is showing up. So I guess the people missing would be the anonymous gifts?

We'll see. For now Melody the 31st is missing and so is the weekend quest. Small inconveniences really. But I do feel sorry for the staff.

If anyone has extra New Year Tokens let me know and I'll buy em off ya :) I need a bunch and don't think I'll get enough from quests for everything I need.

just checked back in here, what with the glitches I haven't been able to use the forum but thank you SO MUCH again, i was absolutely overwhelmed.

I was also hit with the stocking glitch. It's frustrating because if I'd known we'd end up being gifted anonymously I could have screenied my stocking events so I'd know who bought what for me. I tried to delete without looking but I did see some names and, well, the only people I know on the site are you guys so thank you all in advance for my anonygifts!

I also gave out all my gifts late so I assume I'll be largely anonymous as a gifter, too. It's not the end of the world, I don't have huge amounts of SP so my gifts weren't huge, but I've seen people on here talking about spending more than the entire total of sp in my vault on people and it must be quite harsh to have that rendered anonymous.

I do really appreciate that Subeta keep us in the loop and tell us when things go wrong, however. I think claiming that the site would never have downtime again after the switch to amazon was just tempting fate.

Well whoop at me getting the Melody Regular achievement after my sulking, another year not missed with thanks to the copious amounts of downtime. I missed most of the site stress as I only got back from bf's earlier today. Back to work tomorrow blah. D:

Oh man I just got back on Subeta after my Christmas holiday, thank you to my Santa for all the lovely stuff! I'm so pleased with the stickers, but especially with the plushies. <3 Although I can't tell if my Santa has posted my name or not, I can't find it... :(

I was wondering if anyone here had some art advice for me. I've never bought art on subeta before, but I made a pet (Nancy.) as a tribute to the cat I lost last year and I'd really like to commission someone to do a custom overlay for her. I have no artistic talent at all, and I just kind of want a chibi cat that looks like her (she was black and white with a very unique nose but not very unusual looking otherwise).

I don't know who to ask, how much to offer, etc. I've been looking through the art forum but most people say they are closed. Is there a good place to request, or does anyone have recommendations?

I wish I knew! :( I've been looking up and down for someone to draw an overlay of Knock Out, but nobody likes drawing robots. i dont like drawing robots either tho I think Oshawott's stuff is cute though. Oshawott&;s Art Shop (OPEN) Floyd also does some nice animals: ♡ floyd art ♡ :3 (Disclaimer: I've not bought anything from either of these people, so I don't know anything about their work ethic. I just thought their art was cute.) You could always try making a wanted art board if you can't find anything and hope someone comes to you.
