Oh man, I really don't like this change. If it were reversed though, and the percentage showed on hovering, that'd be pretty neat. But the percentage just chilling there by itself really doesn't mean anything.
I'd also like it better reversed, I'd much rather see a number first (that updates with every achievement gained!) than a percentage that will only go up every 20? or so achievements. Also, because it kinda imply 100% would be a feasible goal...
...which makes me wonder why people have over 100%. I know Subeta's got their end wrong on maths before, but really? :/ If percentages are the way to go, then everything should be thrown in the pool.
If achievements for collecting achievements are ever included, I'm also much less happy about working towards a moving percentage than a fixed number goal :/ Not to mention that I may have 70% today (which isnt even much at all), but if I stop collecting my number will fall rather quickly.
has 102% because the number doesn't include retired achievements.
Basically - this is one of those changes that I make because I think it might be interesting. Based on feedback, it isn't particularly well liked, so it'll change back. I'll throw the % in a hover, though :).

That's super cool and it makes me very happy. Thank you :)

Yeah, either the percentage in the hover, or even just on our own achievements page wouldn't be horrible... since I guess some people would be curious about that. But just... not on the posts. My self-esteem couldn't handle that. lol
Well looks like it's been changed to just that, hover over and see the percentage now.
I think it's really interesting (and everyone on this thread has more achievement percentage points than me! 😶) but I don't think it's really that bad that you can't "accomplish them all" - obviously joining a site ten years in there will be things you can't do but the percentage is still interesting :)

Good, it's back to normal. Don't ever do that again, Subeta, please. x_x;

I like seeing the percentage, but it's a lot better seeing the actual number of achievements. Thanks for switching them around! :)
The percent as a hover is better, and pretty neat that way. Perhaps on the achievement page there can be a total of x/XXXX achievements? I see that it gives the current amount you have, but could it also say out of how many, please?
for me the issue wasn't so much that I wouldn't ever be able to achieve all of them, it was more that... nearly everyone who has any achievements at all, has put a lot of work into some number of them. Even if a decent amount are easier than others, there are a lot that are grinding work, very expensive, lots of time, etc. And changing it to a percentage for me turned it more into a 'look how much you have left to achieve' instead of 'look how much you have achieved.' And I know for lots of users, our achievement count is something we're proud of. And whether we have more or less than someone else isn't the main part of that sense of accomplishment. It's the hard work we've put into it.
I am much more interested in seeing things like the event deleting situation fixed than seeing an incorrect percentage of achievements I have obtained under my avatar. :|
Priorities. Where are they?
That should have been fixed yesterday? :)

Also with what said. I worked so hard on my achievements, and I loved seeing my 1000+ number. Compare that to 55% and wow I feel like a failure.
But I'm glad to see it's back now. ^_____^ (my complaining isn't /all/ bad!)
Glad to see it was flipped around, I love seeing my total number over a percentage any day. So thanks for listening to us about this.

No it's not - I still can't delete individual events using the widget. This has been going on for months now.

I'm glad it was turned around. The % is interesting to see, but i rather have it like it is now: on the hover.

It's still not fixed on the widget, which is what some of us have been wanting for months.
lol, I came in here and was so baffled by what everyone was talking about. Must have slept through the whole thing.
Yep. Definitely missed this. I do love being able to roll over the number to see the percentage though. Like seeing the number, but the rollover is like an added bonus.
