</p>
</p>I am against this because this is too close to the collapse icon, even though I don't really collapse my events anymore (not to mention they DON'T stay collapsed)
Any CSS available to make the tiny fucking font bigger? I have CSS that's supposed to affect it, since the font has always been a little jacked up in FF but it's no longer working and I don't know how to adjust it or why it isn't working anymore :P
small {
font-size: small;}
Yes, this makes it bigger, lol.
It's currently defaulted at "smaller". XD;
Art by ~ Sig by ~You are a life saver, thank you! I had a ton of coding before to affect different fonts, I think I figured out the only other chunk I needed to keep. Saving it all just in case I find something later that doesn't look right :P
I read through all of this and was supremely confused, because I see no trashcans... then I realized why. You all are looking on the events tab on the side. I use the Dashboard tab with an 'events' box on it. FYI, looks like the events box on the dashboard hasn't changed at all - same font and the little circles as always. FOR THE LOVE OF GODS LEAVE IT THIS WAY.
i.ban.circle:hover {
color: red;
cursor: pointer; cursor: hand;}
I never really had a big deal with deleting events (besides the one time I posted I was having several issues with it) and hopefully the font can go up a size or two. If not I will just use the CSS code to change it. That's literally my only issue atm.
Them reappearing and re-appearing for me only happens if I use the delete all button and go to the next page shortly after. Doing it one by one and then going to a new page it rarely if ever happens.
I wish to god they would have put the changes on the front news page! A circle with a slash through it means something is not working. I assumed it was there 'over' the red slash and that it meant deleting events wasn't working. So I hover over it so see if it's a link or active, no hover color or anything so I assume nothing will happen if I click it, so I do and the event disappears. What?! UGH. At least tell us when you are doing something like this!
The font is way too small now. -_- It would also be nice if the cursor didn't change to a text cursor when you hover over the icon. Hoping that will get changed so I don't have to use Custom CSS to fix it.
(And I'm still getting events popping back up, but at least they're a bit less persistent than they have been lately.)
So I'm logging on to

...ok then. The font size isn't nice (too tiny on events, too big on titles), that unnecessary line break on the title looks ugly, the padding looks ugly, the crossed circle isn't intuitive at all. I saw the trash can icon as a trash can from the start, but I don't get why a simple X everywhere wouldn't work? Icon variety is cool but not really needed here.
I'm deleting them just fine, but I wasn't having troubles with that before. Like , I couldn't collapse any blocks and still can't.
Overall I'm happy if this fixes something for someone, but it's annoying every time fixes happen, we need to find fixes for the fixes.
When are these changes going to be pushed to the events widget in the dashboard? The events widget (dashboard) looks like what posted. I have a delete button for the whole section and one randomly appearing in some events. It has been this way for me since mid december and it is quite annoying to always have to go the events tab to be able to delete events individually.
From what I gather from other posts, other users seem to be having this problem with the dashboard, too. Would be nice to see a fix for this. :(
Can we please revert back to the old non-javascript tie-in delete button. This new improvement doesnt show up on mobile at all and all it does on desktop is the same as the old button i.e. events still linger after deleting them.
xe/they/she
- I'm the same as you. I'm not having the problems everyone else is because I don't even have these new icons ^_^;
hey! I think I figured out why you guys don't see it - you're either using the Events Widget in the sidebar, or you need to do a hard refresh or something. Maybe log out or clear your cache? But I think it's that you're using the Events Widget. I just put that widget into my sidebar and it looks like that too. The changes (trashcan, etc.) were made to the actual events list in the... back tab? Of the dashboard, the one that you have to click the tab on the top right of the dashboard to view? Not the collapsible widget in the main dashboard that can be added/removed on your Widgets preferences page :D
I was happy to see the new buttons, I struggle so much trying to push them on my phone x: WHY AM I ALWAYS IN THE MINORITY HERE SHEESH (then again I'm late to this party, not sure if we're all talking about the same buttons tbh)
