Because the timers didn't seem to work... Not as a complete fix anyway.
Different browsers. Different settings. Different computers. The only constant, as far as I could tell, was my account and maybe Norton Anti-Virus. (I'm not sure but what I didn't try it on a different computer without Norton Anti-Virus at least once or twice.)
And by the way, everybody, this fix seems to have fixed things for me... I've bought a fair number of items now, without a single multiple, despite browsing normally and not closing my browser. My happiness is tempered by your complaints, but I understand why as I can see how this is an inconvenience for all of you. [edit] And that sounds more bitter than I meant it to... Sorry.
It's just... I have been dealing with this since the latter part of 2012. (Checked the first ticket I filed because of this to make sure that I was correct on that.) It's been such a headache.
Oh yay. Last night I only bought four items and that's going to be it. I have a pretty new computer and damn it if trying to load the masq shop didn't kill firefox. Completely crashed once and froze to almost crashed the other times. I get nervous trying to load the shop once, this whole loading every single time, nope. I'm done spending my trinkets now. I was trying to buy from just from this year.
Oh I'll still hoard them in the hopes that this is changed.

Okay - I'm disabling the one click thing I added in because it's clearly caused a much larger problem than it fixed.
I'm still trying to fix your problem, though :(!

I understand why you removed it, though I am quite sad to see it go. It was SO much easier for me. Super glad to hear that my problem, whatever the heck it is, is not being ignored. :) In the mean time, I can deal. Begrudgingly, but that's pretty standard for me. LOL
So the complaints of a few caused the disabling of something that many used? Figures. :( Now buying items with trinkets will now be tedious and I assume the change will be around in the Vesnali shop as well? is right - a 1 second timer (maybe a 3 second) would be a quick and great fix for this. Not being able to right click is time-prohibitive for people that are trying to get items from previous years and tedious at best. I can't support this.

True. Fixing the actual problems would be beneficial in the long run.

I dislike this change. =/ I always end up buying the same thing more than once because I lose track of where I am. A couple-second delay, while it can be mildly annoying, would be so much better than this.
The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group
I still cannot right-click or ctrl + click in the shop, so how exactly was that disabled ?
The right click seems to still be disabled for me too
Sigh. Yeah, no right click to open up new tab. Yay, lets make stuff more tedious to do. Guess I'll wait until it's fixed or I feel like bothering enough buy the lounge items I need. Glad I bought everything else already.
Edit: You got a forum point while making a post! Check out the shop here!

Ctr + clicking is still not working for me either, so I'm really curious as to what fix happened...?
Whoops, sorry. I updated the bulk code by accident and not the regular purchase button. I just pushed the fix this time it should work :)

sobs in relief
Seriously though, thank you for fixing that.
- it was working again and now it's not anymore :(
Edit: Nevermind, it works now.
- I cleaned out my browser's cache - I'm on a macbook using chrome - and it fixed it. :) Thanks for the suggestion!
