Gosh I love elves so much, particularly in the Dragon Age universe. I'm so deeply in love with their lore and history, their culture ahhh. I can't seem to get attached to humans tbh? I was pouring over my copy of the World of Thedas vol. 1 recently and I dunno, human lore doesn't really grab at me. There are things I could do with a human character that I can't with others, but the elves, dwarves, and Qunari/kossith have so much to work with.
All my characters have backstories that stray wildly from what the game says and there are so many interesting places in Thedas -- oh no, I should stop now before I get too carried away
I made a new Lavellan for the sake of romancing Dorian, but I regret making him just because I wish I had messed with the world state before starting and I don't want to remake until the Black Emporium happens and I can get his sliders...
Sindri Lavellan - a moody lil mage
Also, super unrelated, but I thought of a cheeky little domain name relating to Cullen and I couldn't resist buying it. I am a little ashamed.
So that Inquisitor I posted a little bit ago, the blonde one...I accidentally killed her clan. Poor Lavellan can't catch a break. First her clan dies, then later she's going to cry her eyes out because her heart was crushed...
I'm addicted to Solavellan. I CAN'T STOPPPPPP. I was going to romance Blackwall but Solavellan took over my life. ANGGSSSTTTTTTTTT.
-laughing insanely while making more elven in1uisitors- What has been unleashed will never beee tammmmeeeedddd.
I'm so ready for the weekend so that I can play again. I'll probably start ME during summer break. I haven't officially completed Inquisition yet and I have the DLC now.
I hadn't played as an elf until Inquisition. Mainly because I wanted Alistair to marry my warden, and Hawke is a human obvs. I started with a Trevelyan as my first inquisitor but was having issues with the keep not synching because of a crap internet connection so I abandoned it once I was able to get the world synch working. Alleria is my furthest played inquisitor, a dual wielding elf who just got her soul crushed and now has to fight Corypheus. I'm putting it off though...I want to relive all the Solavellan angst again...I've only played human and elven inquisitors, I suck at making anything else to be honest. Also, I feel ya on the backstories. I've got a shit ton of headcanon stuff for mine. I'm like, HA that's what you think happened. MY MIND SAYS OTHERWISE.
I think I went with Soldier for mine?? I honestly don't remember. I'm gonna have to start the game over at this point because I don't remember much except for a talking jellyfish thing in the citadel protesting or something?? That and I know I adore Garrus lmao.
You're welcome! ♥ I have the same problem though with my inquisitors. It's hard to stick with defaults when theres SO MANY OPTIONS YOU CAN CHANGE. It usually takes me a good like hour or two to perfect my inquisitors.
Oh my god I didn't know that was a thing that could happen. Your inquisitor is going to be crushed by the end of the game jfc. IT'S OKAY I'M ADDICTED TOO. I fully intended to romance Cullen from the start and now I can't stop romancing Solas. The angst is great A+
DESPERATELY LOOKING TO BUY:
It's a war table mission series, Protect Clan Lavellan. It's got like 3 or 4 missions and if you choose the wrong advisor for the wrong mission they all die. I know I saved the clan in my playthrough with Alleria, my first elven inquisitor but I don't remember what I chose. I feel so bad. :c
I think I'm going to make another Elven mage tomorrow night.
I guess I never did all of them. I don't recall doing more than one. :U That's so terrible though oh god. Poor Lavellan :C
Post pictures if you do! :D
DESPERATELY LOOKING TO BUY:
Of course! I need to bite the bullet and actually fight Corypheus at some point so that I can officially say that I've completed a playthrough but apparantly I need more angst so I'm making new Inquisitors and re-romancing Solas...SHOT TO THE HEART AND YOUR TO BLAME, YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAMEEEEE
That happend to me with my first playthroug.
I didn't remake the world state (with my first Trevelyan) and had the default one which is IMO pretty mehh... but somhow I could not finish that playthrough cause the world state bothered me more an more cause half of the decissionas made there were not the ones my Warden and my Hawk made XDDD.
Aww your poor girl.. one of my Trevelyans is not at good terms with his family and later one Cass becomes Divine and leaves him cause of it (at least I think the romance with Cass ends, when she becomes Divine).
And I am working at an overlay for my Inquisitor pet Jarik ^^. I did chose a gipsy vanner like horse, cause I think it fits best the one shown on the tarot card and cause the family crest of the Trevelyans is a horse =)

After months of pleading with my SO I have finally ordered my copy of DA: Inquisition and it is now in the mail somewhere on it's way to me. I'm a tad bit sad that I'll have to essentially do-over my DA:1 and DA:2 story but I can't wait to see the story of this game. I got it for XO but I might get it for PC at some point, I just wasn't sure my current PC setup would be able to run the game and with most PC games that have a modding community I'd probably want to mod the crap out of it and I don't think I'm ready for that just yet haha.

Welcome to the party! I had to upgrade our PC specifically for Inquisition since it's pretty taxing. I'm not sure how well it runs with just the min requirements.. With 8gb of ram, a new motherboard and processor it runs like a dream on our PC. It was worth it. I've yet to even look in to mods (I didn't even realize they existed for the DA series until someone told me. At that point I'd finished origins and DA II though) since I don't mind playing an unmodded game. I can't deal with Skyrim without mods though haha
So I got my Morrigan hoodie. I got an XL to be safe and it runs pretty true to size. I was worried about the fabric being clingy because it's a double layer but it's not at all. I mainly sized up for the chest area to be safe and it's actually more roomy than I was expecting in that area. Hope that helps you size it if you decide to buy one. OMG IT'S SO AMAZING. BUY ITTTTTTT. ; 3 ;
Oh and I also got my Solas shirt. ; A ; I'm still heartbroken from the scene after what pride has wrought...but I'm in love with the romance. I can't stop. SOLAVELLAN 5eva.
Do it. Fight Corypheus. Get it over with. It didn't take all that long at all for me to beat him. I thought he was actually relatively easy. I wound up making separate save files before I talked to Solas each time so I'd have the cutscenes saved so I could rewatch and relive the angst.
DESPERATELY LOOKING TO BUY:
My boyfriend managed to get the drivers working! I was able to play some Inquisition yesterday and hooooooolyyyy is it a beautiful game. I'm super in love with the expansion of the world, and the open world exploration. It feels a lot less D&D and more Skyrim, which can be good or bad depending on personal preference. I did like the D&D feel of Origins, but I'm also loving the open world feel, so really I'm happy either way. The thing I'm having the most trouble with is the WASD movement system, b/c I'm so used to a joystick.

(Sorry for the crappy image quality yay phone cameras)
I did too. X3 I have two files right now, a soldier (who I'm enjoying playing) and an engineer (who will probably be picked up after my first playthrough). laughs I've run across that one too. I think it's a Hanar. Garrus is amazing. <3 I think this playthrough I'm romancing Kaidan (and if I get too pissed at him in 2 I'll make a new FemShep to romance Garrus).
I think the longest I've spent on an inquisitor was on my two males. (Because Dorian needed a pretty boyfriend and I had to have fun with making my only human that I've gotten attached to). I think I might have spent the better part of three hours on them. :3 I LOVE ALL THE CHOICES. In the character creator and out, but it does make it hard to decide on stuff. XD
Oh no! D: I think I usually send Josephine to chat with them and the Cullen to help them out? (Maybe, I'm not 100% sure, but that usually keeps them alive).
XD I actually can't bring myself to romance Blackwall. He's cool, but when I tried romancing him (and I got all the way through his companion quest that involves going to Orlais) I just couldn't get as attached. Solas and Cullen forever <3
laughs I need to create more too. <3 still has to get used to the computer version I miss my tactical camera. I hope you've been able to play a lot this weekend! :D I've been too drowned with school stuff to really get a chance. XD
I completely understand! I've spent tons of time reading through all the elven codex pages and all the stuff on the wikia. XD (I can't get quite as into the human history either). I find the Qunati and dwarves interesting, but not quite as much as I do the elves. My characters do too. XD Some of them fit in mostly with the cannon story like Inness... Others.... Not as much.
He's super adorable! :D <3 XD And nice domain name/site. <3
Yay! :D That's awesome! She looks gorgeous! :3
For future reference, if you want to save the Lavellans (again), here's an easy guide as to who to send on the missions http://crimson-hope.tumblr.com/post/105755277870/okay-people-people-who-make-a-lavellan-quick (I've had it open on my phone for months now, just in case I ever need it again, haha)
Oh my goshhh your quizzie is a super cutie! Those freckles _
Are you playing Mass Effect on your PC? Because if you go into the controls, you can set a button to be the screenshot button c: (I have mine set to ' and it makes such a neat little sound every time it goes off)
I am! Thanks for telling me! <3 I'll have to go do that. XD All my lovely games look so pretty on my new computer. I really do need to save for a new monitor though (my current one tilts up at a weird angle and it crops the screen weirdly...)
is also a sucker for freckles They're super cute! <3
Freckles, partial scales, Dalish tattoos, fawn spots. I love most things that partially cover skin and suggest a bonding with nature.
Man, Inquisition is going to take me forever to complete if I keep running into sidequests. I'm not even out of the Hinterlands for the first time yet, but I think I've completed as much as I want to here for now, so I'll probably head to Haven to flirt with Cullen.
I also like freckles but only if they are not too much (at least in men) on women I really like freckles and they can have a lot.. somhow it makes them look more natural and adorble =).
Sadly on Origins there is no option to give Freckles (when you do not use Mods).
Grats for your new computer.. which reminds me I also need to get a new on this year.. urgh.
Btw. finished Jariks profile.. finaly ^^.

Same here! <3 To think I was actually sad I had freckles when I was younger XD
Side quests will keep popping up. <3 If you've got over 4 power you should definitely head back to Haven (you may have to go do a small main story mission before Cullen will chat with you about much else, you'll know if he's arguing with Roderick). You'll have pretty much the entire game to finish the side quests, I think most of the ones that don't pertain to your companions stay open even after the end game battle.
Thank you! I hope you're able to get a good one! :D
Jarik's profile looks awesome! <3
Freckles are great, my mum has them but they went to my sister instead of me, and I don't think she appreciates them.
I have... 27 power. Oops. I wasn't sure how the game was going to be set up, whether areas could be popped in and out of at whim, so I tried to do as many as I could until I was no longer able to win fights. I did go back to Haven though, fulfilled some missions on the war table, flirted with Solas, and now I'm on Storm Coast, hoping a dragon doesn't come raining fireballs on me.. again.
Aw, I'm sorry. XD Maybe she'll learn to appreciate them.
Nice! XD You're set for a few things then. I had 30 the first time I went back You should be able to handle most areas at about level 8 in Ferelden at least. Orlais is where the tougher areas are, but they cost a lot more power to unlock (namely the Emprise Du Lion which costs like 20 power or something... There are others like that too, avoid them until you've got your specialization and a decently powered team). The Storm Coast is fun. :D If you stand a decent enough distance away (and watch the dragon and giant fight... I usually stand on a hill near by one of the caves along the coast) you can actually wait for the dragon to kill the giant and then go loot it after the dragon flies off.
