Tyr, Turisas. Ensiferum, Wintersun, Finntroll are among my top 5. :D ❤️ I also really enjoy Norther... This is why I never pick my favorite anything. I like too many.
I feel that way about Kamleot with being star-crossed. ;A; Where I previously lived, they only played in the states or the next province over, which was rather far away. Now I move to where they normally play, and now they're playing where I used to live and not here! >:O
Yesss I like Tyr and Turisas too! I've seen Tyr 2x but haven't gotten a chance to catch Turisas yet. I've met and hung out with the guys in Finntroll before, they're super cool.
Ugh nooooo that's awful! I live in the south so a lot of times bands won't come down here and I get so sad. I almost cried the first time Wintersun came to the US and only toured the top half of the US(/Canada).
Now that I live where bands I like play way more often, it's a goal of mine to go to more concerts! >:O Just a couple days ago Eluveitie played here and I wasn't even aware of it. ;u; From now on I vow to pay more attention.
Awww, that really awful. D: One year I would REALLY love to go on that 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise ship, but holy crap, the price of tickets and the cost of getting there... Much sad.
yeah, it was supposed to be an Epica headliner with Eluveitie and The Agonist but Epica had to drop off the tour. I was super bummed they weren't coming down south - I've seen Eluveitie live before, they're great!
It's okay though, I managed to catch them on their 2nd tour! Now if only Time II would actually happen... omg YES. A friend and I have been wanting to go on 70k since we were still in HS. Now we're both working in the ~real world and have the $ but don't have the damn time! I wanted to go next year so badly but I think my boss would lose it since we're under a HUGE deadline for something in Q1 of 2016 and I'm already taking almost 3 weeks off in December.
I wear primarily tight black clothing with lots of statement elements like leather, sheer lace, feathers, fur coats and 5"+ platform heels. I also wear loads of silver/pearl jewelry with minimalist designs.
As for the music I listen to I can't really describe it in any way other than instrumental heavy (typically piano/strings) with strong lyrical vocals. There's also the worth mentioning video game OSTs.
I kind of just have a really wide variety of taste; pop, rock, grunge, classical, etc... I'm really short and adorable though according to a lot of my friends, so they're always surprised to here some of the really dark music I love ahah;;

I don't think it does! But I'm not sure if there's a style of music that'd really suit how I act.
I dress kind've business casual and I naturally take over the role of a parental figure over my friends so I don't know what that'd suit. But I listen to lot of disco/rock/pop/punk/grunge/vapor & retrowave... My favourites at the moment are Hey Boy by The Blow by Saint Pepsi, The Girls by Calvin Harris (as evidenced by my signature!) (though I've had this song as my ringtone for the past 7 years..), most things by The Clash, The Sex Pistols, INXS, The Dandy Warhols (!!), Chromeo, Stepdad, Miami Nights 1984, Arctic Monkeys, I love M.O.O.N's work.. My music taste is pretty cluttery.
Considering i listen to MOST types of music excluding country. No I suppose? xD
Although Lana is my soul sister. Her lyrics are my life <3

I guess my music does suit me. I listen to AFI, Sum 41, Anti-Flag, Green Day (American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown mostly), Jimmy Eat World, NOFX, etc.
Silence is golden... Duct tape is silver.
I guess it does.
Yup, I look like an old punk...and I listen to old punk music xD
(although to be honest I have very eclectic taste in music!)
i look like a 12 year old that listens to taylor swift, but really i listen to everything but country lmao
I listen to literally everything but country. Taylor Swift is about as close as I'll touch country. lol My favorite genres are alternative, indie, punk, and pop-punk. I also really enjoy listening to musicals.
I don't know what people would assume I listen to if they looked at me. My style is about as eclectic as my music taste, so I guess it does fit. lmao
I have been told that my music taste is surprising given my appearance on more than one occasion- but I think it's because I listen to anything. Though people are most surprised when they hear me rap along to songs or head bang to metal so there's that.

Some of it maybe, all of it no. I like the fact that I'm usually one of the few "normal looking" people at a metal concert who still manages to head bang harder than most of the all-black-clad kids.

i like rock and metal generally...most definitely a reflection of me lol
"No Respect for the Meek, No Mercy For the Weak"
I'm not really sure to be honest.
In real life I look like a pretty average 21 year old college student. My style ranges from fratty (polo, vineyard vines, etc) to hipster based on what I'm doing.
I go to a lot of concert and festivals though, and because of this I have developed a pretty wide range of taste in music. I can happily listen to Bach, Future, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Animal Collective all in a row and not think anything of it.
Hi, I'm Turtle.
I look like an anxious nerd who listens to just about anything.
I mean anything.
My co-workers constantly jeer at me for my "weird music," but that's only the stuff that doesn't have unsavory words or phrases that I can play at work. However I listen to just about anything except most country (late 80s, early-mid 90s country is okay with me tho).
The fact I'm weird I guess covers the fact that I can listen to any type of music and be generally okay with it. I've not really surprised anyone with what I listen to in the recent past anyway.
[edit] "Anything" includes music from ATARI, SNES, NES, Sega Genesis, hell just about all old video game systems, some of the more recent stuff from games, as well as techno and electronic stuff because it reminds me of the video game music. I wear the hats to match the music most days lol
I can't really pinpoint exactly what "type" of music I listen to. I want to say "emo" but then people think of the Mid 2000's emo which I bitterly have to say isn't "true emo" at all :P I'm talking about Braid, The Get Up Kids, Sunny Day Real Estate, Texas is the Reason, Jets to Brazil, The Promise Ring, etc...
(My favorite band ever of all time is Modest Mouse though, and I don't know what exactly they are, either)
I dress rather simply and unassuming; skinny jeans, boots or flats, sweaters, hoodies, things of that nature. I suppose I fit the mold of my music still. In high school I was one of those kids who wore all black, studded belts, wristbands, slip on Vans, the whole deal.

I am in the same boat as you! In highschool I listened to alternative rock, punk, screamo, etc. I used to feel like I had to dress the part, but my dad never let me wear anything too out there. I had a hard time fitting into any certain groups. Once I hit college I enjoyed dressing in designer clothes with my hair and makeup done all the time. I like to wear high heels and dress super girly sometimes. Other days I wear jeans and band t-shirt. Especially nowadays, you can be whoever you want to be. There are a lot of successful business people who look polished and classy, but also are covered in tattoos and listen to heavy metal. Not exactly what you stereotype them to be. At least you know that you are true to yourself no matter what people may think or judge you to be!
