I wear normal clothes and I listen to The Birthday Massacre, Blutengel and Joan Jett and The Blackhearts. I also listen to some pop
I love all different kinds of music but mostly from different parts of the rock genres but I'll listen to anything from any genre if I like how it sounds. Some of the different kinds of music I like are; ska, punk, funk, rock, reggae, metal, blues, classical... and the list goes on. Some of my favorite bands are; queens of the stone age, the white stripes, rx bandits, the black keys, metric, tool, toadies, local H, soundgarden, avenged sevenfold, bush, stp, sublime, bob marley, the beach boys, nirvana, pearl jam, pepper, RHCP, radiohead, streetlight manifesto..... I think my taste in music does reflect who I am in many ways :)
I'd say my taste in music does fit me mostly. I mean, I have a wide variety of things I like, but my favorite genre is punk rock or pop punk, which is pretty funny since I was raised on country. There aren't many country songs I like though, only the small few I remember from growing up.
I primarily listen to folk and death metal, along with a few female fronted metal bands. I wear a lot of black. I have weird ear piercings. I have tattoos. I've had my hair dyed all different colours of the rainbow. Yet... Every single person I've ever met has been SHOCKED that I listen to metal because I "don't seem like the type." I honestly don't get it.
Considering how many band t-shirts I own, I think that pretty much matches what I like to listen to perfectly!

I love heavy metal music but I look very normal, people always look at me strange when I'm listening to it in my car lol
I just made a post about this over on facebook the other day. Whenever I talk about music with someone, they always say "You don't look like you'd listen to that kind of music." Some of my faves are Florence and The Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Faith No More, Mindless Self Indulgence, Die Antwoord, AC/DC, Lacuna Coil, and even Mozart. For some reason people always seem surprised when I say I don't listen to country music...
my wishlist Depending on the season, pick an option below flower honey_bear
LMAO hell no I'm 5'3" with a baby face and chubby stature and I listen to a good bit of metal/heavy metal like Disturbed, Metallica, AC/DC, and a ton of other unfitting music.
{ Tumblr || Flight Rising }i dont know lol i listen to a lot of kpop, idk if that matches me or not ;_;

You could say that for the most part. ...mmmm people have this misconception that I'm harmless, but, well. Let's say I get very angry someone might get beaten up lol. So in the end I guess (GOOD, not all of it) jpop and hard rock match me. I'm also into Halcali who do a mix of hip hop, jpop, and jazz at times. Heck I'm really into some jazz pieces so I don't know anymore gah. I'm definitely not classy enough to match jazz. ...unless you count casual clothes or some sort.
Well I... dress really average I suppose. Mostly people see me in business casual. I think people would be surprised by how angry the music I listen to is, and how much of that is rap. I've been told I'm very 'calm'.
Oh usually, I listen to a lot of hardcore punk and rock music which works out fine when you see me with my battle jacket and chucks riding along on the bus (probably with a bag full of knives, I'm a line cook) But a big guy like me will still dance to Electric Sugar Pop when making dinner or doing all that domestic stuff
riggity riggity rEKT, SON
Yes and no. I'm a metalhead, and I dress like it, but I don't have the right natural physical appearance for it because I'm the single least-intimidating person to ever live. Plus I don't have my long hair anymore, either.
I'm guessing it doesn't 'cause of the amount of weird looks whenever I play my songs loudly or start randomly humming along with a song I hear. Although it could be the fact that what I like tends to go from one extreme to the other.
I don't have a label I don't think ?? I don't actively dress like anything, I just wear jeans, converses, and a random t-shirt, color varies on that. I do like to think, that amongst the people that do know me but are unaware of my musical taste, I would surprise those people with what I listen to.
Then again I usually like a little bit of every genre, but I mean the main band that I listen to, I just think it would surprise people haha.
Ohman, it's been FOREVER since I heard someone say "prep". So thank you XD such nostalgia :')
I'd say my taste in music matches me pretty well. I would describe myself as "weird" or "all over the place" and I enjoy everything from metal to folk music. With some Weird Al and Oingo Boingo thrown in there :D
Metal-head here, I guess I dress to fit the part. Band shirts, 99& black wardrobe, long black hair, and I fancy leather wrist cuffs/bands.
Judging by your username, no shock here. ;) Also, female fronted metal bands, there is not enough decent ones (IMO)... There's a total of like... 3? that I enjoy haha
Yeah, there aren't very many female fronted bands. I loved After Forever :( Some of ReVamp's stuff is pretty good and I did like the first 2ish albums from Epica, but Simone's changed her singing style to more of a pop voice and I don't like it. I've been jamming to Delain lately when I want to listen to some lighter stuff - I really like Charlotte's voice.
p.s. yaaaas kamelot!
I used to listen to Epica back in highschool, but yeah... My holy grail female fronted is Battle Beast. Recently discovered Sister Sin and like them quite a bit. Friend introduced me to Huntress, still on the fence about them, lol. When I want something softer though, I really do enjoy Sirenia.
But overall, Power, Viking/Folk, and Melodic Death are my most often listened to.
yup, I listened to them back in HS too. Saw them in TX in... 2008? and then again last year in Montreal. I wish they hadn't changed so much. I'll have to check out Battle Beast and Huntress! Ooh yeah, I do listen to Sirenia sometimes.
Yesss I would say Wintersun (crying forever), Norther (also crying), Finntroll, Amon Amarth, and Ensiferum are my top 5. I kind of hated From Afar and Unsung Heroes but I think One Man Army is moving in the right direction again. I like to joke that Ensiferum and I are star-crossed though, I can never freaking catch them live!
