I guess not that many copies went out though, since it still isn't available in shops. Or people are just keeping it for themselves.

They might put it back in the Free Shop again in the future or something.

I doubt it's ever comin back to Kain, like ever. It's too good of a weapon and a staple. They probably retired it from a regular shop like that in the first place. Shinwa is the most thematically-fitting option, while also keeping the supply low for such a staple weapon. The only other weapon that does this is Rainbow Vortex, and that is worth 2000 CS (or anywhere from 140M to 200M if you are lucky to buy it from an user). Temple Shard should reflect that very same value, and I think keeping it as a low supply item in Shinwa would help. It would also make it always available. Something the crystal shop and token shop would never amount.

giving the shard to her would be terrible for the shard; either it goes out too much (& tanks the price) or doesn't drop at all, which is amulet of neutrality-level useless*. restocking at a high rarity would be better. a limited crystal shop restock is more likely.

i'm all for more access to better weapons, but shinwa's quest is not the place for shinwas temple shard.

I guess I just like keeping items rare. r99 items are still pretty cheap, all things considered. And there are far too many of them around, by other means. Maybe extremely rare Shinwa AND token/crystal shop? Shinwa would be a permanent influx, no matter the rarity.

Also Shinwa doesn't gives as many items as the Hustler. Amulet of Neutrality is so rare simply because the Hustler has an even larger item pool.

I have to say I really wish that Shinwas Temple Shard was never allowed to get as expensive as it did.

When I first started and came over from neopets, one of the things I thought was awesome about subeta was that within the first 2 weeks of questing I was able to afford a better set than I had on neo for years.

To me those weapons should almost just be kept in the MC for less than 10mil each. If those items were not as cheap and readily availible, I probably wouldn't have switched.

At this point since most people didn't buy STS for 10mil like i did, I feel like you need to protect it a little more than just slamming it in the MC, but you could also probably throw an alternative in the MC for 10mil to the shard to at least help combat the inflation of STS.
