How do you get a nostalgic pet?

first you need to either buy a nostalgic toy of the species you want (ex: nostalgic lain toy) ou make a toy at vanya's (this second option is less expensive, i believe). to make the toy, you'll need the nostalgic toy instructions (ex: nostalgic lain instructions) and to do a vanya's quest (if you don't complete the quest, you'll lose the nostalgic pet instructions; if you complete the quest, vanya will transform the instructions in a nostalgic toy).

you've got to bring vanya a nostalgic pet toy AND an essence of melody. then vanya will ask you if you want to transform your active pet into the same pet as the toy : )

OHGOD this is so hard buuuuuut I've been looking for an excuse to get a Nostalgic Jollin for a long time - just don't have a story worked out yet or anything.
