you need an "essence of melody" and a nostalgic toy of the specie you want (you can do it by buying the nostalgic pet instructions of the species you chose and taking a vanya quest or by buying the toy), than you go talk to vanya

The Nostalgic Sheeta, for being modeled after th childhood favorite Lambchop (my dog has a squeaky Lambchop toy that he loooves to death)

The Devonti for looking like a cute mop. The Kumos because I absolutely adore the Kumos in general and also because I am a huge fan of stuffed animals, which I still collect to this day.

Other favorites would have to include the Mallarchy (I used to have this really strange pull-along dog and I really wish I still had it), and the Nostalgic Pherret (come on, who doesn't love a good slinky toy?)
