Yeah the top and boots are both masq items. They're some of my favs on here too, I really want a pair of those boots in RL.

I'm loving all this Masq talk :) It's truly my 3rd favorite event here :D Hopefully they have some gorgeous clothing/hair/backgrounds again :)

The background is a mix of the Relic Gray Tiles, Unfinished Aluminum Window Frame and a new background item, Kumous Sky Framed Print. It's in the Wizard's Quest shop and takes a while to save for. This is the first chance I've had to use it. ^_^ I can't wait to see all the shiny items they'll have this year! Your current look is very elegant. Very beautiful design!

Is it just me or have they changed the start time for the Masquerade? When I looked at the holiday calendar last I'm sure it said it would start mid March but now it says late March. Did it always say that and I misread it last time?

last time i read it it said Mid March too they must have changed it

Im in the process of saving up for a small fish tank *2 gallons and a betta fish. I miss having a fish lol. I will name him Nessie.. I might get a japanese trap door snail and name hime Herbert as well to keep Nessie company.

Well... I have to admit a huge mistake I made last weekend. Get it off my chest ya know?

Jess may have partied a little too hard last weekend. I got carried home from the bar completely passed out and covered in a combination of vomit and alcohol. Made a total fool of myself. The man I was dating won't talk to me. My friends are still my friends, but they are telling me I need to really be careful. I'm just super embarrassed about the whole ordeal. I apparently started a lot of fights, threw some punches, screamed a lot.... got so bad I'm actually moving in a month. I'm moving home closer to my parents so I can get my life together.

I don't know how tho. How does one transition from being a young adult in college to growing up and being a real adult with a big girl job and her own apartment? Cause that's what happening and Idk how to handle it.

I have some reservations about this theme. I know Five Nights at Freddy's but the question is: will they finish it? With Elwood they tend to roll him out on April 1st or when they want to play a joke and then leave him be. I wouldn't mind if this is the start of bringing him in as a real character on the site but I do get the feeling this is a bit of a 'reference internet craze to be cool' event. I hope not. It would be great fun to see if we can take this somewhere. A tank of fish sounds like a great idea. Just the one fish though? I thought Betta fish liked to live in groups. Maybe I'm thinking of a different kind of fish.

Wow. That was some party from the sound of it. Firstly everyone handles growing up in their own way. There are lots of people who don't feel like they've ever grown up. But it depends how you define growing up. Do you define it as someone responsible with a home and a mortgage? Possibly. I was always taught that a grown up is someone who can look after themselves. So they can cook, clean, wash, do basic first aid and basic repairs of everything from clothing to pipes. But that doesn't necessarily mean you're a grown up. I think being a grown up just depends on what you feel. I know people older than me who I don't consider mature or sensible in the least yet in the eyes of the law are adults in their own right. As for your situation, who said you couldn't go out for some fun and drinks? There is nothing wrong with that. But taking it a shade too far seems to be the issue you've had. Firstly, I think you need to face up and apologise. I'm sure you've done so already but it might take more than one. The second is to give the drink a break. I'm not saying give it up but reduce how much you have and set limits. Just while you're organising things. Once you're comfortable in your new role then go and have some fun but focus on what you need to do first so that you can settle. Next, I think you need to find a point where you stop drinking. Try and work out a feeling or a point where your body is telling you that you're getting pretty happy with things. Once you reach that point, switch to water or a mocktail. Fruit juice is good too. That should help keep things from going that far again. If nothing else comes of this, you've learnt what can happen if you go too far into your glasses. Take it to heart and adjust accordingly. I'm sure you'll find a balance and things can settle down. Just take care.
