You have a good heart, but yes, drinking is no excuse to act like an asshole. Im not going to sugar coat it for you lovie. You have to learn how to limit yourself and know when your stopping point is. There is nothing wrong with getting blitzed as long as you control yourself and have good friends to get you home safe. I tend to stop when I feel my face get warm and I wont stop giggling.

You are young so you are going to make mistakes. If the guy won't talk to you now, you're probably better off without him because he clearly isn't mature enough to realise it was just one mistake and forgive you. Take a break from drinking like everyone else has said and start to learn your limit once you start again.

Aw, hun. That's tough. I agree. Apologize. Set some limits. Growing up is crazy, and transitions aren't easy. But learn the balance and life will be so much easier. <3 If you need an accountability partner, find one. One who will stop you when you've "had enough" and long before it gets to the point of later being embarrassing and awkward.

We all make mistakes here and there. That's just how it is. As long as you get up...and I know you will/are!...it'll be okay.

I ordered my small fish tank today, Ive been saving for a month for it. Now I just have to get it set up, let it sit for a few days to cycle and go find mah Nessie and Herbert. I refuse to buy a fish from walmart of those sad little dude at petsmart or petco.. all though Im all about rescue and it would be like saving them from a sad fate of someone who may not take care of him.

Just been catching up on the messages here, sorry I'm so late in all of this, Hope you are ok. We all had to go through growing up too :) I had a wild time too (if you ever need a shoulder, I'm here), I found it best to have my best friends help keep an eye on me so I wouldn't do anything stupid. Sorry about the guy, hopefully he'll come around or if not, then find someone who actually has your back and not bolt first thing. I'm glad to hear you're safe at home though! Sucks to grow up but you'll learn how to responsiblly party yet still grow up too.

Welcome back! :) I saved one of those poor Betta's from Petsmart last year and just lost him Friday, Although it sucks seeing them locked up in those terrible cups, the fact that you'll be saving one and giving it a better home counts for something too. I've found a lovely group of Betta fish owners on a forum who have amazing advice and tips. If you ever want that link, let me know. Right now I still miss my Spartacus but hopefully eventually I'll be able to rescue another one.

hi! I'm sorry about your fish. :( I had a 45 gal tank growing up. I loved my fish! Was really hard to give them up when I moved across the country. And I was always really sad when one died. I'd bury them in my own little spot by the trees. Ha. :)

My forum picture is of the newest edition to my family - Thumper. He's nearly 2 years old and was an early birthday present from my fiancée! I'm totally in love with him! He's not quite cuddly but he does like being stroked and sometimes like to grooms us.
