He has a chewing sticks and lufor (or however it's spelt!) toys. He is really spoilt so much so he's becoming a little naughty. He won't go into his cage at night, it's taking us over an hour to get him in there and it's rather stressful for us and him :(

Is there any treats or things he's very fond of that would encourage him? The cavies will do almost anything for a dandelion leaf, maybe leading him to his cage with a small nibble to show its a good thing? I'm not sure how easy it is to train bunnies.

We've tried using treats to lead him, trying to make a little game out of it. We end up having to pick him up after cornering him and it's heartbreaking because he hates it :( He has plenty of room in his new cage and he's happy once he's in, it's just getting him in that difficult :(

Have you spoken to a rabbit trainer? I know it's possible so maybe asking someone would help provide an answer?

I think we might take him to pets at home where there are experts in who can maybe give us a hand. At the moment we're relying on the internet blogs etc.

Sounds like a good idea. They've given me good advice when I've asked. I hope you can find a solution soon. Can he go to his cage any time he wants?

Yeah we keep his water and his food there to encourage him to go back there. We let him run around the majority of the day with restrictions only when we're either at work or going to bed. He's pretty much in charge of the house and he hasn't been here 2 weeks yet :)

Do you think placing him in his cage randomly might help? There must be books on how to train rabbits. I know you can house break them and even teach them tricks so there should be a way to teach him to go to bed at the right time. He's a young bunny right?

No he's 2 which makes him an adult. We bought him from someone who didn't want him anymore. They kept him in an outside hutch all the time and that's why we think he doesn't like going into his cage. It's also why we let him run around all day long when one of us is around so he can enjoy his freedom.
