I'm a bottle blonde, so when my roots start coming through I have to wash it every other day to avoid it looking /too/ greasy. Otherwise I can get away with dry shampooing it instead of actually washing it for 3-4 days. :) My hair is quite long (waist length) and the majority of it stays clean anyway unless I get food in it... which is a more common occurrence than I would like to admit :<

Anyways, as for dry shampoo, I use Batiste, its good for "fluffing up" your hair as well. :) The only thing with it is if you have dark hair it tends to leave it looking a bit powdery. But you can get dry shampoo specifically for brunettes.

I'm not the only one then! If I keep my hair greasy too long, I get itches, pimples and eczema scabs all over my scalp :(

I wash my hair daily because I love the feeling of it, especially when it's still wet. :)

If my hair gets greasy it immediately itches and feels like crap and I hate that so much.

I shampoo my hair every other day, and use conditioner almost every day. If I don't wash it for more than two days my hair gets greasy really fast. :(

I wash it usually every day (at least every second day). It gets oily pretty fast, which I hate. I also tried to not wash it as often (and let it oily for a bit - horrible experience) - didn't work for me. It still got oily as fast as before.

I use silicone free shampoo and self made conditioner once in a while.

Yeah, I use the Lavender shampoo bar from Lush currently. I have butt length hair though so I usually have to swipe the bar through in sections though to get it all through though.

As for vinegar rinses:

a. apple cider vinegar( not a lot. I use enough to just cover the bottom of a 1 pint water bottle and fill the rest of the bottle with water. I use purified drinking water because our tap water is hard) b. mix together and then after you shampoo your hair just dump it on your head. Also, please close your eyes. I've gotten it in my eyes by accident a couple times and it HURTS.

You can choose to leave it in or wait a bit and wash it out ,but it works pretty well. My hair is ridiculously soft afterwards and it's cut down on the oil production in my hair which is nice since I have naturally really oily hair.

P.S. The type of vinegar by the way doesn't matter. White vinegar works just as well, but I only have apple cider currently so that's what I've been using. If you want to keep your natural hair color, white vinegar works better since over time apple cider tends to give your hair a slight reddish tinge.

I wash my hair one or two times a week in the winter. Two to three times in the summer. All I can suggest is finding a good conditioner.

I wash my hair once every 2 or 3 days. The days that I don't wash my hair I'll just put it in a bun and shower off. It saves me a lot of time. Also, it's healthier for your hair if you don't wash it every day I think.

Thank you!

I usually take a shower every other day, but there are times that it has hit the 3 day mark (usually if I was busy with exams and stuff of that sort). I'm pretty good with keeping it at every other day though. I don't like to extend it longer than that because I have oily hair (and I also constantly have my hands in my hair, fixing my bangs and what not).

I wash my hair every day because I have an oily scalp which makes my hair oily. I'm aware washing it only makes my hair more oily but I can't help it. When I wash and air dry it over night (my parents says it bad), my hair looks best in it. I can even curl it if I braid it damp.

I have pretty dry hair but sweat a lot, so I wash it every other/2 or 3 days or at the very least use some spray in dry shampoo.

I wash mine with shampoo every 9 or 10 days, but I do rinse it thoroughly with water each day, since I use product to spike it up (it washes out completely in plain water which is awesome).

My hair doesn't really get dirty or greasy anymore, regardless of how long between washes, but I get killer dandruff (have done since I was a kid), so washing it with a natural (or as natural as you can get without making your own) tea tree shampoo every couple weeks is necessary if I don't want to feel gross. Interestingly, the more often I use shampoo, the worse my scalp gets. I was shampooing my hair every day for a while and my head itched like mad.

I wash my hair two or three times a week. Most of the time I don't wash it because it gets greasy but because my scalp is supersensitive and will become irritated if I go more than three days without washing. Sooo I basically wash my hair on Sunday evening, then maybe on Tuesday and again on Thursday.

Although, I often braid my hair for the night after washing and then open it up in the morning so it's crazy puffy and curly (YES I KNOW IT'S BAD FOR THE HAIR), and that tends to keep it clean for a longer time...

Back when I had dreadlocks, I washed my hair once a week. I really miss that. XD

I wash every 3-4 days. I probably should wash every other day, but I think it works best to go a little longer between- I get oilier if I wash too much.

There are some water-less shampoos out there, since I saw some in my last visit to the hospital, but I'm not sure how effective they are. Uh, plus to be honest, they're not too common. But they should be out there.

I wash my hair when it starts to get noticeably greasy. So uh, maybe... Every 3 days? It gets kind of bad though since my hair is thick and people notice. >_>;;;;;

Got into a bad pattern during college where I stayed in my room like a slob. coughs Trying to fix it. So I'm not an ideal example.

But your best bet would be to use a decent conditioner and keep it in your hair for a few minutes, though I personally don't have any recs. Though I'd be careful of home remedies, always triple check. Never know if it'll provide instant smoothness but actually cause damage. shrugs

I guess something like uhhh every 4 days, maybe 2 times a week? I work with my hair in a hairnet for 8 hours monday to friday, and the whole hairnet+hat doesn't make it overly greasy but somewhat greasy and definitely flat. I also feel like since the only people that see my after work hair are immediate family I don't really care.

I usually always shower at least twice between friday - sunday and once more sometime during the weekday. :/

I generally wash my hair every other day, unless it's a day I'm working. Right now I work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so those days I wash my hair each morning.
