Ohhhh, you wont regret watching the LoTR series. The first movie and the third is my favs by far. The first for the adorable hobbits and the scenery. The second has a very very loooong winded battle. The last one is filled with action all the way! :D
Seen all of the HP movies? I dont really care much for the Simpsons.. so not seen that one. ;)
Oh my goodness, those are precious! :bows down to skills: One would think you had been knitting for a lot longer!
That is some awesome layering for your HA! Love it. ^_^

nods I've seen most of the first LoTR film, half of the second, and the end of the third laughs I don't mind it being slightly slower paced, as long as the scenery is worth looking at! ;)
And I've seen all the HP ones I'm going to ;) I decided to not bother with the last two films, as I preferred the version I had in my head after reading the books ;)

Actually, for both HP and LoTR they somehow manage to make the characters and setting look like the image I had in my mind while reading the books. Which rarely ever happens. xD
The Hobbit movies is worth a go as well, to me not as good as the LoTR ones.. but still great!

LoTR definitely is the best I've come across so far for being a match to what I had in my head from the books :D I've got the first two Hobbit movies, but I've still not seen them yet 😊
Love the outfit today! :D

I agree! I want to live in Bilbo's home. lol They also made me want to visit New Zealand. I am a city girl by heart, but I love being out in the nature as well.
Thankie. I wanted to make use of one of the million tique sets I have in my wardrobe. :P :D Not seing a challenge outfit for you tho? Loving teh one you are sporting now tho!

I've just got to get the hair right, then I can save today's outfit - it's only just changed over to yesterday's one for some silly reason kicks the cache
And I bet those films did wonders for New Zealand's tourist trade!! :D

They could not have asked for better PR. ^_^
Ahh, the wardobe can be pesky like that. :gives it a good kick:

nods hopefully the pr will last at least as long as the interest in the HP studios over here laughs :D
Yeah, last week it seemed to be behaving, but over the weekend, it just didn't want to co-operate :K

I donkt know about that, but thank you.
i love the kitty outfit today :D works great with the acorn
thats an adorable outfit :) I tried doing the hard refresh but it never changed over--much like me trying it now, now see the bear.
the ears were so fiddily.
saves today's outfit Yeah, for some reason hard refreshing didn't seem to resolve it for me either - I was beginning to think maybe yesterday's outfit hadn't saved at all!
I can imagine! Knitting ears that tiny would be bad enough, let alone sewing them onto the head afterwards! ;)
Did I show you a pic of the pigeon in the end?

oh now i can see yours :D so cute. I'd not been able to work with those dino dresses so good for you :D really like aww how adorable. yeah the knitting was hard but sewing was harder still.
hehe I only picked the dino dress by accident, but it seemed to work really well :D If you layer it underneath a pair of trousers (and under a cut-out background), the top of the dress can work really well as a t-shirt ;)
Do you sew the pieces on with thread, or the yarn you knitted with?

I'll keep that in mind lol, though I know I sold at least one of them :P I use the yarn I knitted with when I can. which was the joy of this one, so small, and sewing underneath so that the grey and whites didn't show through.
nods that's what I prefer doing - sewing with thread on a knitted item just doesn't seem to blend in as well as the yarn does! laughs

definitely! I always hate trying to hide the cast on thread on an ear - I end up leaving a long thread at the start and end, so I can knot it into the main head stitches, but it always feels clumsy doing it like that! :P Awesome outfit today!! :D
This is the bear I was making on Saturday
I just need to get another bag of stuffing, and some plastic pellet things to weigh his paws down a little ;) ....and of course sew a nose & mouth! :P

I wind the smallest part into the middle so I can stuff it with the rest of what's getting stuffed lmao. why thank you :D lol this is 2 of 6 cws I bought this weekened -coughs- The wig and hat are new. aww he looks cute :D
that sounds like a much neater way of doing it! :D
They look amazing! :D hehe I guess RP-Raven wanted to look super stylish for the next task? ;)
:D I've got his body & limbs sewn too - I skipped the joints, and just machine stitched a lot of zigzags to attach the arms & legs, so they should flop quite nicely without the hassle of plastic joints ;) :D Mum was wanting a bear to take silly photos of, if her & Dad go out somewhere, so hopefully this one will be able to be posed enough to make it work for what she has in mind ;)

hehe work smarter and all :D haha RP Raven stole my wallet lmao that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :P lol I would love to see one of those silly photos when she takes one :D
roflmao and I bet you weren't overly keen to fight her to get it back? :P
hehe there's some of the knitted penguin she took out a couple of years ago on my facebook page I think ;) hunts for the link I've pinged you to the start of those ones (hopefully) ;)
