-flops on- God it was a long day. So left at 11.30 to grocery shop. Started shopping for clothing first--my tops are so old and I need some new ones--plus some shorts given how hot it is. But they didn't have a single pair of shorts in my size at all--not one. So I was really upset. Then left that store and drove all the way to where I was yesterday to a plus size store that is a bit more on the trendy side (Torrid). They lady saw I was almost in tears and asked what was wrong. They next thing I know, I had a personal shopper who was grabbing things left and right. LOL she shoved me into a dressing room lol. I didn't buy anything at the moment because I wasn't sure what the budget was-- so went to the walmart there and did the shopping. FINALLY finished that, went back to the store and told her my budget. She started slapping on discounts left and right. one $50 off the first $125 I spent in the store, then at 15% discount for sigining up for the free rewards program and it goes on lol she got it down from $150 bucks to $82 with tax. Thats for 2 pairs of $45 jean shorts and two tank tops each at $33. Then unloaded the grocery and now zombie Raven.

ROFLMAO I came across my notebook from an archaeology course I did back in 2005.... I couldn't understand a word of my scribble in it, and that was from the class sessions rather than the weekend on the dig site 😊

that's one heck of a shopping expedition! The personal shopper sounds like it was a brilliant way to stop you getting totally mesmerised with what they had in there though, and to get all those discounts was awesome!! :D :D I'm not surprised you're all zombie-fied now though! squishes

yeah it was, and I haven't recovered it lol. I'm still knackard and need to finish shopping today -_- lol I wouldn't have gotten mesmerised--frustrated and walked out more likely. lol.

the second top is also black with two skeletal lovers. I wasn't aiming for all skulls but they were the best.

I'm in love with the shorts. They fit so well! when I saw the shorter pair I freaked until I realised they hit mid thigh and not arse cheek like it looked like it would lol.

I knew I'd lost some weight as my trousers need a belt to stay up, but I didn't know that I'd gone down 2 dress sizes in my bottom.

I rather wish other's had the same view point--even skinny people shouldn't be flashing their rump when they walk in public--especially if you aren't at a pool. If one can tell what type of undies that you are wearing--then its not a good fit lol.

it opens on the 29th for Memorial day weekend which is considered the unoffical start of summer--which also means everyone and their cousin's baby will be at any watery place. But in 90F heats and given the fact I burn in cars, I don't think I'd be outside anyway--and the pool is closed next week.
