there's three of them all in Zawbi's (sp?) cw shop. I love all of them but just picked this one up the other day and couldn't wait to use it. Its a tribute to the move The Crow. So my HA is Erick Draven (google him in images and you'll see how close we match) not too bad, I'm on the 5th inc row of wiz number 2. after doing your Dumbledor I got tons of orders for the little guy lol this one is for mum's mother's day pressie which will be belated lol.

Thats awesome! I am sure I would make a hot mess if I tried to write with a drip pen! There are distress ink- that will make the paper appear aged, if that is something you be interested in. Or you could do like I done before.. burn the edges with a lighter. xD Just tossing out ideas.. you might not even want to go with the aged look anyways. :P Crumble the paper and then straithing it out can give a nice effect too, along with distress ink or something. :)

I've never tried that for distressing the paper before, but I did try staining white paper with a tea bag, to make it look older - that worked reasonably well :D My cousin sent me a photo of his baby son wearing the jacket I knitted - I'm amazed how well it fits, seeing as I didn't have the right sized yarn, and couldn't get the baby to test the size first! laughs

Tea bags works awesome too. :D Just tossing out ideas... I have been looking into techniques from scrapbooking a lot. lol

Aww, I bet he look adorable in it! I love baby clothes.. its the cutest. :) I got myself a lovely owl hat and matching scarf today, as a bd gift from Raven. Cant wait to use it next winter! :)

nods I'm hoping that once I can get to grips with the dip pen, I can write out a few things to add to my Sherlock scrapbook (seeing as that's currently sitting in a box, as the printer didn't like taking up the paper for that :K ) ;) I think I probably need to clean the printer rollers, but I haven't got a clue how to do that, so Grandad's friend has agreed to do it for me, as long as we can get the printer over to where he works :D

:D I've got a pic of the jacket here (link), modelled by a very dashing teddy bear laughs but it seems to fit the baby much the same as that bear, so that's useful to know for sizing my knitting :D

Ohh, that would look so lovely in a scrapbook. ^_^ As usual would love to see a picture or ten from your projects. I love seeing the things you gals make. You are both so creative! Using your own printer is awesome for scrapbooking! I have to send my pics to a photoshop to have them printed.. and often when I am scrapbooking I find that I would love for the pic to be smaller og larger. ;)

:D I got lucky with the printer - Mum was in charge of the Church newsletter a few years ago, and we decided that we ought to have a slightly better printer than the old one (as that took hours to print off enough copies of everything!), so we found this one in the sale :D Hopefully getting the rollers cleaned will mean I can print on photopaper again, as it's not quite the same just having it printed on ordinary copier paper ;)

laughs that bear came with a jumper, but I had to take it off to be able to fit that knitted jacket on him :P

nods just make sure that you don't get one that was stupidly expensive ink - I found the cheaper printers seemed to always take the priciest ink refills o.O To be honest, most of my photographs are sitting on the computer - I've hardly printed many off at all.... but there's something about being able to flick through the photos in your hand that makes the Sherlock scrapbook idea so appealing :D

That is true... they tempt you with a cheap printer only to rob you when you buy ink! In fact... printer ink is one of the most overpriced products out there. Along with razors. When you compare the cost of production with the retail price.

compatible ink is cheaper, but I've always been wary of using that, in case it messes up the printer!

I have used compatible ink before.. but mine is mostly used for copies and printing letters anyways.. so I dont need high quality prints for that. xD
