Lets see if I can do a small report. :)

I did not arrive until late at night on Tuesday, so we just ate and relaxed at hour room at the apartment hotell. I was very happy with where we stayed.. nice cute lil apartment in a good area. We even had a small shopping center (with a Tesco store) a couple of minutes away- as well as the tube and busses.

The next day we went to London Eye- which gives an awesome view all over London. And we did the London Dungeon Tour. We wandered around in the dungeons and learned about prisons, torture devices and how rough life were back then basically in England. lol The plague- London fire as well. Professional actors and amazing settings! You seriously have no idea!

We of course wandered the Oxford street for some shopping. All I ended up buying was a gift for my nephews bday- and a couple of circular knitting needles tho. o_O

On Mons bday (on Friday)- we went to eat at Gordon Ramsays restaurant- before we went to see Les Miserables. Both were amazing!

We also did the Madam Tussaud- and took pictures of eachother along with the wax figures of everyone from Barack Obama to Shrek. lol They had a Marvel 4D theatre as well.. which were cool! and a star wars part.

We of course did the aquarium as well.. which were also lovely. :) And ate at one of Jamie Olivers chain restaurants- for the most yummy garlic bread and pasta. We also did the Jack the Ripper tour- by foot. With a guide that told us in graphic detail about the murders and how rough life were for the people living in the east part of London back then. Man, it was brutal with is overcrowding and poverty. We got to see the crimescenes and even crimescene photos that they used a projector to show us on the wall. I was amazed they even did crime scene photos back in the late 1800s. o-o But they did for a cuple of the murders here- got a photographer. Some of the parts we walked in had not been touched much in the last 300 years or so- so it was like a timewarp really. :O Still not the nicest area of London- I would not want to go there alone. xD

We of course also visited the buckingham palace, westminster abbey etc. :) And I marveled at the sweet accents, english politeness and the cheap prices at Tesco. lol

What I loved the most tho was the visit to the Harry Potter studios. My gawd, we were in heaven! You got to see the all the most important sets- like the room where they do the sorting into houses etc (too tired to think of its name right now). Of course original outfits etc etc. We even got to go inside the train- and even Harry Potters house used in the movies. They had built a small house for the movie-- which were really tiny. lol but neat to see.

We even saw monsters, props etc used in the movies. Diagnonal Alley (spelling?). And the miniture model of Hogwarts and its sourroundings that they filmed for the movie. So small compared to how it looks on screen. :O :O :O But gorgeous all the same. I bought two t-shirts, Hermoines wand, mug and a couple of other things. lol Tshirt and mug Gryffindor of course. xD

that's why I have ones that turn into sunglasses - saves needing to swap between regular glasses and shades each time I go out / walk into a shop ;) If only they wouldn't reflect stuff in photos though :P

whoa, you managed to fit a load into a week! 😮 The London Dungeon Tour sounds incredible - I bet it felt like you were really back in time on that! :D The Harry Potter tour must have been amazing! Did you take loads of photos? ;) :D :D

admires RP-Raven's fishing outfit My eyes are really light-sensitive, so it's useful for the glasses to change so I don't get dazzled by even just looking out of the window on a sunny day ;) They do take a bit of getting used to though ;)

laughs that's what I did when we were on holiday years ago - me & Mum shared the photos so we could get ones with better angles / stuff she'd spotted and I hadn't ;)

I'd be too much of a scaredy-cat to go there I think - I've never even done the ghost walk around town before! 😊 :P

I've had ones that change into sunglasses since 2000, so I've had a nice long time to get used to them laughs But as I need my glasses all the time, it seemed daft to keep changing over to sunglasses just to be outside ;) I even struggle with the optician's torch thing - they keep some older batteries to use in it when I have an eye test, so it's not quite so dazzling :P

ponders over a HA for today

I like the one you have on right now xD not sure I'd fair so well with that cutout.

-snugs- sounds frustrating.

this is one of the more challenging cutouts to use - if only they could be layered over a background (or have a bg layered on top) to block out the white, they could be a lot more versatile! You kind of get used to it ;) The last optician offered me a slight tint to the regular glasses, to cut down on the brightness, but I thought that was probably overdoing it a little ;)

-nods- you almost want it the other way and the white bits showing bg and the bg parts being white. yeah that's what i've been told.

actually, the polka dot / polka hole one does that - one has white circles, the other has a white background and see-through holes ;)

I only realised when I thought I'd put two identical things in my wardrobe :P Thanks - I couldn't resist getting the background, and Ambessa reckoned the dragarth was the thing that resembled her the closest (she's a rreign, but I'm actually considering changing her to a dragarth)
