I did some sewing today - I'm entering the Simplicity sewing challenge, so I started working on the skirt pattern they sent me for that. I changed my mind from making the button-up skirt, to making the one with a zip in the back.... that should be a lot easier! I've had to stop now as I don't have a zip in the right length :P but that's going well so far :D

If it stays dry, tomorrow will be an allotment afternoon - I've not been able to get down there for a week or two, so Dad's been in charge of weeding, watering and picking anything that's ready! ;)

you need a flat just for the plants :o it was brilliant, as is today's xD I did xD

So today had way less issues. Had to buy lunch because my chicken wasn't fully cooked so I had no choice really. But that was all. Got a lot of free things, loads of ideas--had a great time and spent every penny of my pocket money lol. totally dead on my feet zzzZZZzzzz

laughs even the kitchen is overrun - Mum's got a lot of the escapees from my room, on the washing machine :P Aww at the chicken not being fully cooked :( but I'm pleased the rest of the day went well :D :D

Sounds like you will be busy with projects! I started a new scarf last night to go with my owl mittens (same yarn) and my mum ordered a hat... so started on that as well. xD Thankfully she liked some of the yarn I have stashed away.. so get to use some of it. I have so much stored. o-o

Great to have a helper when you are not able to do it yourself. I think the weeding part be a great one to outsource. 👼

that scarf's going to look incredible - having it to match the colour of the owl mittens is a great idea! :D hehe only trouble is, Dad's not so good at weeding - he seems to never know the difference between the plants that're meant to be there, and the weeds :P

laughs Mum always gets the plants from my room that look half dead - 90% of the time she gets them to recover and they then get to live in the kitchen ;)

of course :P Any time I walk towards the kitchen with a plant, she moans that she's got yet another "dead" plant, but she seems to like being able to prove the plant was just "resting" and it simply needed more light / more water / different soil / a change of location :P

sometimes - I'm looking for a new plant to fill the empty pot where the Orchid was.... but I need to repot most of my other houseplants before I can get a new one (as then I know what size plant will fit!) ;)
