well lol purple is your fav colour and lol I just knew itd be purple haha cute. I hope your postie brings that box today or Monday :/
laughs I do have some black / grey fake fur as well, but that wasn't as easy to use, as the stitches didn't show up too well :P
Last time, I think what you sent arrived on the van rather than with the postie on foot.... what day did you post it?

do you want the stitches to show? I love the beachy look today xD I almost put the shirt on too lol but ended on deciding for a rain look. er good question... I think on the 17th of March and its a large parcel. About 20 x 14 or something. its not heavy, just bulky.
on the inside, yes - if they're blending in with the lining of the fur, then I can't see what I'm needing to unpick when I go wrong :P
laughs well rainy is more suited for Spring ;) RP-Paddy's fur will grow back later today, so she wanted a quick trip to the beach first :P
It usually takes about 10 "working days" doesn't it? has a look at the website Ah, depends on what shipping you used - first class just states "time varies by destination" o.O

lol I had that problem with the monkey but eventually I got his ear unpicked to redo it. haha I don't blame her. its priority mail.
hehe my trouble was the backing of the fur has stitch lines across it, so I unpicked those rather than my stitches a few times 😊
looks at that one 6-10 business days, so assuming that's Monday - Friday, and that they don't work Good Friday or Easter Monday, ten days would be Monday :D

:nods: You dont want to start a project and not be able to finish it since you cant get more of the yarn you need. :P
I feel your pain. >_<

i put the ear together with one inside and one outside together lol and recut it so I didn't have to unpick and did the same thing lol then was out of fabric so had no choice :P -crosses fingers- oh well. Almost finished this sock monkey I'm making
nods and with the length of time I take in finishing a project, it's guaranteed they'll discontinue the yarn before I finish! ;)
laughs I've done that as well hehe :P I try to make sure I've got a bit of fabric spare, just in case I mess up cutting or sewing it ;) Regular postie-on-foot has already been, but the van turns up at random times, so there's still a chance of it arriving today ;)

that's the problem with a sock lol there's not much left :P -crosses fingers-
nods the dragon was made from one pair of adult socks, and child's welly socks - they were nice and long, so I should have a nice bit left over :P

When i saw the name of this post, I thought it was 'Raven Mad C^nt Chat'
yet another reason I need to get new glasses XD
Harry Potter inspired dresses! !!

looking at the owl, I only need one sock to make one owl, so I should be able to make 8 from the pack of socks I bought earlier in the week :D ....I just need to figure out how to make the hat now laughs

I might have a plan for some of them 😇 :P

maybe 😇 I'm not sure how far their wings would let them fly though :P
The hat would be better machine stitched though - that'd get the brim nice and flat ;)

the grey one I'd already made, but just added the eyes on, and the Gryffindor one was made today :D I definitely need to machine the next hat (and possibly the wings) just to get them a bit neater, but it's not bad for a second owl and first hat :D
