Oh, there were plenty of stitches lost, holes I had to fix around the heel... you name it. lol I want to learn it tho.. as I have such nice memories of my grandmother knitting warm socks for the whole family. :)

hehe as long as it was possible to close up those holes, I bet the socks were still nice & warm! :D When I end up with a hole in my knitting, it's always in the middle of a row, where it leaves a really obvious patch where I've tried sewing over it 😊 :P I think it's a grandmother thing - mine always used to knit jumpers for me and my cousins :D

I use a crochet hook if I lose a stitch. If you do it right, your knit will be back to looking just fine again. :)

I never usually notice until a few rows afterwards laughs But I do have a small crochet hook with my knitting needles, just in case I do notice quick enough to hook it back through & onto the needles :D
