That is great for the shorts. I am glad I didnt went with expensive yarn for these pillows.. as it would cost a small fortune! Would end up more expensive than going to a fancy interior store. :P

laughs I never bother with test squares either.... which does mean if I try knitting anything to wear, it'll be a lucky day if it actually fits! :P hehe that's why I use cheap fabric too - it defeats the object of making something if it'd cost a fortune just for the supplies! ;)

lol I once ended up with a ball of yarn having just enough left for a tail- after I was done knitting my project. Now that was a miracle!

I mostly knit/crochet for fun anyways, as I already made things I have no idea what I am gonna do with. :P But hey.. :)

hehe but if you can get the supplies at a good price, it makes you more likely to use them (at least that's how it goes for me - if I have something pricey, like fake fur, I'm less likely to just dive into a project in case I mess it up 😊)

I went through the list on the forums to decide which zombie disease I wanted (they've got the final stage pictures so you know what you're picking) - you could always pick random, but then there'd still be the chance of getting one you've already unlocked the skin for.... maybe pick random, and ask for bites for one of the earlier ones (like virus, boobitis or love bug) ;)

The leftover yarn is the bane of any knitters existence. xD You dont want to run out of yarn either, and risk not being able to find more.

I dont have expensive yarn, unless I can find it on sale. :) Well, I did buy mohair yarn for shawls.. but I felt that was totally worth it. Would not be the same with a different type of yarn.

I did the same. I forgot to post for bites with my dolly one. :blushes: So I just did.

That's true - anything acrylic wouldn't work as well for a shawl, so that really does need the fancier stuff ;)

Plus, for the mittens, it was a challenge to make them look identical- or at least close. But they turned out well, so I am happy. I just need to find those owl eyes...

nods that's why I'm reluctant to start anything that needs a pair! 😊 At least with the sewn ones, the way I cut the patterned fabric means that they will always look slightly different, so there's less worry about them needing to be identical 😇

which zombieness are you going for now? yes ma'am I went with love bug because I needed bites and there was one person on the boards biting lol
