nods it arrived yesterday lunchtime, even though the company said it should arrive on Thursday o.O ;) It's almost silent compared to the other one (I hadn't realised just how noisy that one had got!) :D It's definitely the quickest I've ever put a new computer in - I think it helped that I labelled all the leads first, so I finally know which plug is which :P Last time we needed to unplug something, me & Mum ended up unplugging everything because we couldn't find the right plug 😊

awesome :D congrats :D lol yeah that would help. oh my er... -puts on sunglasses- that's a rather pink look you have today. with some kinda creepy eyes.
Dad was "helping" (handing me the sellotape to stick the paper labels on), but he wandered off half way through - I think he got bored o.O
laughs I thought I'd go for a random look today - I picked the dress then tried to colourmatch everything else apart from the background and wolf plushie :P

-snickers- well I think you managed the colour matching lol
hehe I just used the wardrobe's colour picker :P

laughs but it should almost nearly guarantee that the colours match each other :P

and the wolf covers the smidge of blue in the dress, so it looks like an even bigger overload of pink :P

For me its a lot easier to read and understand German, than it is to speak or write it. Simply because we have a lot of similar sounding words. I have forgotten most of the grammar and vocabulary sadly. Always wanted to learn to speak French, its such a beautiful language. :)
Most of what I read, are from the library or I borrow them from people. Or else I would be seriously broke. lol

hehe about a week before our final exams, our German teacher told us that if we couldn't remember a word in German, just say the word in English, and add "-en" on the end - it won't be right, but it'll sound German enough to get a half mark :P

Hehe, not that far from the truth. :P Plus, you got to remember that they "build" their sentences differently than you would in our languages. Truth been told I chose German over French in school, since I knew it would have an easier time learning it. Since French is nothing like Norwegian or English at all.

nods I always got in a mess working out the order of the words in a phrase - we never learnt much about English grammar so trying to learn German grammar was just impossible :P

You didnt learn much about English grammar? :O Now that is surprising since ya know you kinda live in England. o_O I actually got quite good at German grammar, and got very good grades. I have to agree, its not the easiest thing tho. For English the worst part is. Here are the grammar rules... but then you get a long list of exceptions to learn. :P

Nope - when I started at school, the in thing was for the dictionaries to be removed (apparently stopping to work out the spelling, was meant to disrupt your creative flow, so you had to put in a "magic line" like _____ .... only trouble was, I never could remember what the darn word was meant to be!), so grammar wasn't meant to be needed either o.O

I guess they didnt think of the fact that this would cause trouble when it came to higher education. o_O

yeah, all the schools got swept up in a tidal wave of the next new thing, but grammar (and spelling) never came back into fashion until a couple of years ago o.O

if you say so lol I dont really like borrowing books so if I can't afford them I tend to re-read lol
kicks the wardrobe all the skins are showing as broken images :K :(

There are always too many books I want to read, for me to do that. Even buying what I read through a month, in paperback, would be too expensive. lol
Sounds like you really lucked out there. o_O Fads like that, should not be taken likely by schools!
