hehe it's strangely tempting to crochet some random shapes (like a few hexagons, squares, and maybe a circle or three) and try to fit them together somehow though :P

You have to be some kind of superhuman to cut a straight line with scissors. xD So a papercutter, along with glue and regular scissors was the first thing I bought when I started scrapbooking. Along with album and paper obv. :)

nods I can't cut an accurate line with scissors on fabric either :P I do have a small craft knife somewhere, from when I did card making before, but again, I usually find the ruler slips of to the side as I'm cutting, so it's not always that accurate! 😊

I dont think I've ever seen that one before. lol though I dont think its really spooky -snickers- yeah it was amazing to see all the support and was so glad to be able to come and support them too.

hehe I've learnt now to trace around the pattern with chalk, then cut it out afterwards - that seems to be a little more accurate than just cutting straight around the pattern! ;)

That sounds like a good idea. ^_^ Getting a straight line using a sowing machine doesnt seem easy either. :P

I've got the hang of that a little more - as long as I can line the fabric edge with the side of the foot, I can get it reasonably straight 😇

You can also pin it down a bit, to make it easier to cut I guess?

Yeah, I was looking at some pinking scissors (the zigzag ones), and they're over 20 pounds in some shops! o.O
