Same here. It gotta be worth paying for, thus the pressure. At least if you make something for yourself or people you know- flaws are just a part of the charm for the most part. :)

nods also, if it's only a slight flaw (like the stitching is a little wonky, or one of the stitches in the knitting was the wrong colour), then it might not even be noticeable to the other person (after all, who's going to look that closely at it, unless they've paid a fortune for it?) ;)

Thanks :D It's a challenge I've been set for the two weeks up to Morostide, to not use the wolf zapper skin for any HAs laughs It really does seem weird to not see all the fur! ;)

Okay so this is hard to say: We all know my allergies are really bad as are my back and constant migraines. It is rare for people to have contact allergies with Guinea pigs--most people are just allergic to the smell of the urine. Well last night-through today I've had a horrible migrine. Nothing I've done can seem to get rid of it. Taken migraine meds, other meds, laid down, took a bath, caffine....

This morning I'm trying to sleep and Pippin was being loud with his drinking on his ball water bottle. I stuck him in dad's room after over an hour of this. Dad tells me he felt like he was going to pass out from the smell-- mum was/is worried the cavies are contributing to my allergies/migraines.

With my back being so bad, and not able to always get the parents to help because of their own physical limits and my contact allergies getting worse-- I've made the heartbreaking decision to give them up. They left home today--has been crying. Very upset.
