nods this one will be a pc so I can hook it up to the monitor I got a couple of years ago - I borrow Mum's laptop from time to time, but I need to use the stationary pc if I'm spending ages on the computer, otherwise the small screen drives me crazy! 😊 I think I'll probably go with the one I spotted - there's more 5 star ratings than 1 star ratings, and a lot of the low ones are just because people didn't like windows 8 o.O

:nods: Laptops seem to not have as long lifespans.. I have always ended up having problems with overheating- fans- battery etc sooner or later. I have a 15 inch screen, but then again. I have it on my lap most of the time, while I am sitting in my couch.

nods my previous computer (a stationary one again) had such a rubbish fan, that it was always overheating - I think I replaced that one after about 18 months :K I used to have a 17 inch screen (free gift when I bought a computer laughs), but I've not got a 21 inch widescreen :D Took some getting used to, but it's a load easier to use :D

Yeah, I really didn't understand why they'd put that on a review of the computer?!

Yeah, same here - especially as the darn moths are breeding in Mum & Dad's mattress :K

The only consolation was that its covered by the warranty, so dont cost anything to have it fixed at least if your computer is not too old. At least its been that way for me.

21 inch widescreen sounds nice. :O I go nuts if I cant sit infront of the telly while I chat and play neo/subeta and whatnot. :blushes: So stationary would not work for me. :P

Yeah, this one would come with a year's phone support plus a next-day in home repair service (for free) - when Dad got his computer, it only came with the "send it back for repair" service ;)

laughs I can't concentrate on the tv and the computer at the same time - I'd get way too sidetracked by the tv to get anything done! :P

lol yes, yes it does. So tried to sleep, couldn't. Got up to knit for a bit, mum called and needed me to come bring her somethign she forgot. On the way home, migraine hit--ate something and laid down to sleep (now ten am) woke with a migraine pounding at my skull (15.20) ate something, took more meds--gonna go lay down and hope for a coma :P
