I didn't say it was not on the map I said it was not in the new main shops page and I asked Keith why and all he said was " Theres a reason its not there" WE speculated it was going to be gone but nobody but staff knew. yea he really should post it in the forums for all to see though because even when he does say stuff in the sb not everyone sees it and then we hear well how is that true where did he say that and we have no way to show y'all.

Still wish that even when something is hinted about there would be some kind of announcement. Something like "You may see less balloons in the future" or something at the very least would've been nice.

I thought the same exact thing. It seems like "don't hoard" means "hoard all the things".

It's like, ok, games are giving out ballons. But I've been playing them a lot since the announcement and so far I have a grand total of 1 balloon that I could turn in.

Idk, it just seems silly. If these were event items with a really great surplus it'd make more sense, and I don't even like those achieves really.

I don't like those achievements either. I spent 2mil on balloons yesterday because I didn't want to deal with the nagging thought of another achievement that would take me years to get. I don't like rewarding hoarders, but what else can I do when it seems like that's what they want us to do.

There are prizes from the carnival games I still don't have yet and I probably never will unless I just out right buy them from another user.

The achievement came out when I was asleep (as they always do, I'm not on subeta time), and now all the balloons are 30-40k at least. I'm not paying 15mil+ because I can't be awake at 4 am refreshing for achievements frankly.

I'm just gonna try to complete it by getting them from games (I don't even know which games really give them out?? or if anyone ever wins ring toss?? the carnival is so under utilized??) so in like, ten years. :D

I'm pretty sure the ones that give them out are balloon hunt, ring toss, and mallarchy pond. I don't think the other two do. The Carnival does need a major update though, just giving balloon hunt different balloons every holiday isn't enough.

Yeah, I hope at least this whole thing is a prelude to revamping the Carnival and its games.

I agree, I don't like the achievement either. I donated all the non-rare duplicate balloons in my gallery and only got 180. Even if I donated my duplicate rares, I don't think I'd hit 200, and I really want the forum title at 250.

I'm just hoping prices will eventually drop after more people get the achievement. There are still shops with 100s of balloons in them but at crazy high prices. Or else that a more reliable way to get balloons appears. I feel like this whole "reduce all the balloons floating around" plan backfired somehow.

The Balloon Shop was one of my fave places to restock. Sad to see her go.

While I still don't care much about the closing of the Balloon Shop I have to say that I'm not fond of the new Achievement - 500 Balloons as the last tier is overkill and I too thought Subeta wanted to stop encouraging hoarders.

I agree with Edge above. I can survive without the Balloon Hut; it is kinda cool the balloons went to the Carnival. I am very, very disappointed Subeta released that massive 500 tier achievement.
