edit: Phew, I was finally able to get two more tasks done. I think I'll be fine as long as we have the spiders/scorpions to fight later. The obstacles are cleared so quick, it's tough to catch them!

I knew you was on the other side of the world, I just wasn't sure if your birthday was just starting or ending lol.

Anyone else having issues with bathouse? It says I've visited 3 days in a row, but no reward and the pools are empty...

Thank you all for teh birthday wishes. Will send out thank yous when I get home from work. Which will be Wednesday morning Subeta time. It's already Wednesday morning here.

The wedding went well! It rained up until the ceremony on Saturday. It was pouring when I was getting my hair done and I was so nervous it was going to rain through the ceremony. But it stopped! It was chilly (60F) but not raining. Then the sun came out! It went so fast. I was so nervous but then I started walking down the aisle and it got better. It was all a blur. I was shaking the whole time but it was beautiful. The reception was so much fun! I didn't have any nerves dancing in front of everyone and not really many nerves when I spoke in front of everyone. It was a good turnout too: about 150 people.

My dad has been on the fire department for over 35 years so we got a nice little surprise from the fire department. They brought the truck over and took us for a short ride in it. I think a lot of our guests thought it was a send off and we were leaving because a lot of people started to leave! It was close to the end of the night anyway and super cool. Not everyone gets a surprise ride in a fire truck with the lights and the horns blasting haha!

I am glad it's over though. I was super sad to take off my makeup and undo my hair. My hair and makeup will never be that nice again lol.

I just wanted to give everyone an update during this intense plot of ours. Go Blake! :D

Did all my quests today but my team doesn't seem able to catch up.

I was having the same issue with obstacles :/ but I guess they're on a timer though? so like every 40mins or so there should be another. I'm not sure, I just keep seeing people saying xxmins until next obstacle and then sure enough there one is.

Happy late birthday

We drove out to San Diego this weekend and had a wonderful time with family, the nice weather, the ocean <3 It was horrid coming back home because as soon as you cross the AZ border you actually feel the temperature rise... oh yeah, welcome back to hell... LOL Kiddo has decided maybe he's meant to be a sailor, he could not get enough of the speedboat (momma was terrified! where tf did that come from? I used to love that! damn mothering protective instincts) But he didn't so much love the actual ocean, at least not the beach where there were surfer type waves, he says we were visiting California's butt and it was pooping waves on him... that kid is... special LOL I, on the other hand, LOVE just being in the water out there. I kept going further out until I realized I was RIGHT in the way of the surfer dudes. They would catch a wave, follow it along, and sure enough right as it got to me, they had nowhere to go but abort! splash so I had to go further in. There were like 20 people trying to surf on this little stretch of beach though, so it was pretty crowded on the waves. Almost no one on the beach itself though because it was one of those residential areas that you wouldn't think to look at. The only real bummer of the trip is that our poor lil Lou the car came back awfully worse for wear... when you hold the clutch in it sounds like a bunch of birds chirping or squirrels chattering so... something's about to go there. That and I had really wanted to get the kid to sea world so he could see the Orca before they stop that program. I'm glad they are, but how many chances will he get to see killer whales?

I'm really glad to be in my own room again, though being in the ocean just reminded me how much I miss water. :( I have got to move somewhere where there are lakes again. I'm a fish, perfectly happy to splash about in the pond during the spring, summer, and fall, and also to chill out on the bottom when it's iced over, what am I doing in this hot, dry desert?

I hope everyone is well <3 and good luck with the plot! I have a theory forming in my head that because the brothers not only had forsaken the islander way of life, but then came back and cheated their way through their sacred rituals, then lied to trick their fellow islanders, whatever force is opposite Merena in that volcano is going to be out to get the king brother. Hopefully Matlal doesn't sacrifice himself to save his brother :/ though from his story that's totally what he would do. I'm sure both teams will be joining up at some point to try to save somebody. I can't wait to see the plot prizes at the end!

This plot is exhausting. Interesting theory Kelli. Maybe what's his face will finally suck it up and do something noble and make things right instead of relying on Matlal to save him again.

I'm curious who the next NPC is and what we'll have to do to get them and what the boost is.

Hi all sorry I am in and out and not really posting, as most of you know my dad died a couple of weeks ago, so i was back and forth between Florida and Delaware a couple of times. Now unfortunately mom is not doing well and need to go in for a catherization on her heart hoping that is all, I fly back out to delaware on Tuesday nite and do not have a returned flight booked at this point until we know what all is going on.

The firetruck completely took us by surprise! My dad has been on the fire department for over 35 years, so I have a connection and there were a few of the firefighters at the wedding. All of a sudden we heard sirens and lights flashing and I was thinking someone got hurt! But it was my cousin the truck with a couple of the firefighters. They took us on a little ride. They couldn't go on the roads but we drove around the parking lot (it's a very large parking lot!). It was fun but a lot of people thought it was a send off and started leaving! That's ok though, it was the end of the night and it was definitely a memorable moment :D

So I don't get why we didn't get a chance at another NPC... and what's the deal with Elwood? And I saw our progress bar at the top and thought we struck camp in the middle of the night. This whole thing is so confusing to me! feels like I'm in the dark

You're not alone Jenn. I'm very confused.

It looks like the staff changed their mind about NPC drives, at least with Elwood. I think we were all feeling pretty burned out after so many days straight of having to be online frequently to play. Plus it fits with Elwood's character since he'd normally just want to be with Blake. That wouldn't seem fair, so I'm excited just to have whatever he gives both teams. I'm getting kind of sick of the event, so I'm really hoping we get some other things to do. I miss puzzles and actual plot steps, and I'm getting bored with this competition stuff!

The event has been confusing and annoying, especially for us Saggi supporters, I think.

This last leg was absurd, but we definitely feel your frustration on Team Blake. After you got Sephora, we were so determined to keep close, but we got slammed with battle obstacle after battle obstacle. And then this last leg sucked for everyone. It wasn't fun for us to be so far ahead. We just wanted it to be over. I've seen some speculation that we might work together now. I would love that. I'm annoyed with how the event has taken place so far, and I'm bored with the repetitive games and obstacles.

Yes, I'd love to work together too. I mostly joined Saggi thinking that there would be more battling, but am a bit jealous that Blake got Matlal.
