Blah, not happy we blew a 4k lead over steele and now we're 15k behind.... but I guess I shouldn't be too surprised since there's way more people on team steele than team gold. I hope there's no more of this kind of competition where numbers outweigh each other.

I think it might also be that there were people on Team Blake that were up all hours of the night and maybe not enough were up at night/early morning on Team Gold. I saw that this morning after waking up and figured that might be a reason for the huge gap in the numbers.

I was thinking the same thing, Jenn. We had the lead yesterday during the time I was donating items. I guess that motivated the steele team :P

We lost our ground last night... and the gap widened overnight for sure. I'm not gonna lose sleep over it though.

I didn't either and I slept pretty good lol. The gap must have happened in the early morning when the majority of us were sleeping. There were only 530 people online when I logged on at 6am

Well crap! I guess with all the 502 errors yesterday my bath house didn't take. I thought I did it but it must've errored out and then I got fed up and went to bed before I went back and checked. Back to day 1 for me. I hope it gets better today.

For the record, Amber said that the teams are pretty even, and in the news comments, Grace said that Team Gold is actually a little bigger. Team Steele had complained a bit about Team Gold's seemingly faster progress because we figured they were the bigger team. We had just gotten screwed early with the wind that blew us backwards and then both teams got messed up with site issues/coding problems. I really hope the next leg of the adventure is more fun because this first bit was more frustrating than fun.

We rallied the troops big time last night when Team Gold was ahead :) We had a fair number of very active users that were online late last night/early this morning. I went to bed early last night so it was a nice surprise to see our lead this morning. There were about 15-20 users that were actively posting in our forums and buying like crazy and donating thousands of items.
