- Ariana just got her license, but she had her permit for almost 2 years. We had originally planned on making Nicholas wait, but decided to go ahead an let him get his permit and then maybe his license next year right before school starts so he can drive to and from school...but we've made no decisions yet except to get the permit once they do that drug and alcohol bit so we don't have to pay for that testing...fun.

Woke up feeling like absolute crap today :( Not sure what's going on, couldn't get comfortable last night - everything just hurt, kept getting woke up by it which then lead to hours of trying to fall back asleep...ugh, whatever it is needs to go the fuck away, I'm a bit over all this damn pain lately :( I'd like to blame it on the weather but the last couple of days have been dry so it's not that...

Hubby got a bug up his tail over the last few days and decided it was finally time to replace our dining room table - we've had it for over 18 years and it's just not slowing starting to have issues (nothing a bit of maintenance wouldn't fix though). The old set was solid oak, so I warned him before he bought the new set that nothing we would find or buy would even remotely hold up for as long as it had, so be prepared to be replacing it every 3 to 5 years...he seemed ok with that so we went ahead with the purchase. It's a hightop that seats 6, though it could seat 8 and we're discussing purchasing 2 more chairs, the table goes from round to square and the color is almost identical to my cabinets... I'm a bit sad about the old set, but really do love the way the new set looks in the kitchen <3

We have a high top that goes from rectangular to oval (leaves up) in our kitchen, and I love it. We don't use it a lot, so it's great to have something convertible like that.

I have my grandmom's dining room set in my dining room. We never use it (except for some storage), but it's nice to look at. I think it's mahogany.

Today I received 10 recycle points...for day 17...bleh.

Busy day yesterday, we went out in search of a new helmet for the hubby and ended up getting me a new Polaris buggy!!! I've been wanting one since we moved out here and the hubby kept telling me no that I'd end up in trouble with it, well apparently he changed his mind - either he doesn't think I'll get into trouble with it or he no longer cares if I do, lol. We ended up buying a one seater instead of the two because we both want to drive, when he gets his bonus in a month or so we're going to go back and get a second one. Best anniversary present ever!! I spent a couple hours in the trails yesterday and came back covered in dirt from head to toe - it was the best ever!

Day 18 - 1 bathhouse token...now I have 2, lol...going to take a while to buy all the items in that shop!

Went riding again yesterday, think I may have overdone it just a bit - my mind was screaming yes, yes, yes but my body apparently was saying oh hell no...of course my mind won and now my body is actively having fits today - it was so fun though!

I had planned on working on my closet - it needs a bit more purging as in a third of the things in there need to go...I also need to measure one of the hanging shelves to I can get it replaced - we ended up short a section of the type we need for the closet and had extra of the kind for shelving...thinking it would work just fine and then realizing that it doesn't really work at all...none the less the closet is in some major need of being thinned out but it's not going to happen today, I'm so sore that moving other than what is absolutely necessary is just not going to happen today, lol.
