Thanks everyone. Tom and I aren't married (yet) but his mom thought we were. It makes me sad that she will not be at our wedding, whenever that will be. But, she started calling me his wife last year, after Tom and I had been dating about 4 years. I remember she told me "I think he really likes you; he doesn't talk about anyone else" after we were already living together. She was a lot of fun and was really an awesome lady. "only" 75 years old. I'm sad that I will never have a mother-in-law, but I'm sure Tom's 5 sisters will help make up for that.

Getting ready for our trip across the state, we'll be gone a week and I couldn't be more excited! With everything that we have going on at the moment this break is exactly what I need to regroup, refocus, and relax. Sometimes the only way to accomplish what one needs for themselves is to shut the rest of the world out - and with all that has happened recently that is easier said than done. I'm so tired of all the tragedy in the news on daily - even more tired of the fact that Flori-duh seems to hit the front page far too often for terrible acts, it's a problem across the nation and around the world, but seriously, someone needs to step up and clean up Flori-duh before the problem gets any more out of hand.

Ugh, sorry, not trying to go all ranty...just tired of the hate & violence and innocent lives lost because there are so many people out there who can't be happy without hurting others...
