Congrats on the oracle Mina and Jeff. I've been buying steamwork menagerie items using sp but its quite expensive but I'm following the idea that if the over all item is cheaper to get from US then using trinkets I would go with user shops.

Haha, I had a thought...I'll take out all my wiz tokens and then I'd only need 1000 more items for the 45K super shop ahievement. Unfortunately, that didn't work out so well. It doesn't take them out as 1 point wizard token. Oh well. It was a good thought at first! I'll make the 30K, but definitely not 45K. Even with all my gallery and wardrobe stuff I won't make it. I'll have to settle for 30K.

I'm not even to 30k yet with the hoarding - this is what I get for slacking, lol...ahh well, time to sell the shit off I guess...or frag it since many many more items are able to be fragged now :)

I think the big misconception with the 'new' shops is that the code making them function is the same - it's not. The coding is entirely different so they won't run into the same bogging down problems the current code in the current shops creates. You can still hoard items, just now it needs to be done in your vault - which is really where it should be done and likely would have stayed being done had it not been for the achievements (bad move on Subeta's part). The limits don't bother me and I sell a ton out of my shops. It's not the total overall number of items you can sell but rather the total different items - so you could have 500 different items but multiples of those and end up with over 2k items for sale in your shop still...It'll work out and hopefully stop the site issues too :)

Been so sick this past week, wasn't bad enough that I threw out my back two weeks ago - while I was down with that I contracted strep - joy. Only I had no clue and thought it was a sinus thing for the first 4 days...so over a week now with that, antibiotics seem to be doing their thing and I'm actually up and around today so headed in the right direction...

I RS a lot so I usually have over 500 items in my auto priced shop but I expect that limit to be higher before we have to switch over [edit] I store very little in my vault because it's SO much easier to search for items in a shop. I wish they would leave all of our current shops open as galleries. We could add and remove items and still work towards those "shop" hoarder goals, but the items wouldn't show up in a shop search and we wouldn't even have the ability to price them. There's my 2 cents :P

I agree the limits are going to go up, there's no doubt about that :) I thought I restocked a lot, lol, but I don't do more than 500 different types of items a day. I do multiples of between 100-200 different items and then whatever items I'm moving out of my hoarding gallery to sell off - though most of those end up getting fragged since they're not worth half of anything...

I just moved over the items from my 'closed' shop, which is where I keep all the foods I'm waiting to feed my pet...hopefully there's no glitchies!

I will not hoard in my vault for the same reason Jeff mentioned. There are no search parameters other than the name of the item through the vault and that sucks. They way I figure, I'll just make a hoarding gallery and put all my crap in that. That way I can do the search thing and pull out stuff when I need it. At least that's what I plan to do if Keith keeps his word and doesn't impose a limit on galleries.

Thanks for the ping Christine to that thread, but honestly I think the petition signing is just plain silly. With the response in the news, I think the staff has heard us loud and clear about all this. Not sure what a petition will accomplish.

I completely agree that the petition is silly because there's nothing it can really accomplish. I figured some PSers might be interested in taking a peek at what's being said there, not sure if anyone wants to do more than that. I'll wait until Grace gets back on the 13th and then the shops go live before potentially doing a LOT of complaining. Until then I'll just keep an eye on the admin posts.

Glad to see I'm not alone though, I thought the petition thing was a joke at first! :/ Isn't that site supposed to be for enacting... real change... for actual problems in the world? o.O I mean I'm sure it's abused terribly constantly, but I just. nope. The news and feedback thread are a pretty thorough petition right here, I think they get the point.

I'm honestly not all that worried though. I'm excited to see if it really helps smooth things out, and I reeeeally hope that the stuff Keith is working on for moving things easier/faster turns out awesome. Maybe I'm just too complacent, but the way I see it, there's a problem, staff's attempting to fix it, and they're human so we should be patient and give them the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully it works out eh? ^_^

I took off yesterday. Tom and I were supposed to go to the home opener for the Phillies (baseball) with a friend of his. But, his friend had to cancel and the forecast was a chance of rain, so we decided to wait to go on a later day. (The Phils have been horrible for the past couple years, so tickets were still available.)

The weather turned out beautiful, and I still had the day off, so we went out to lunch and ring shopping. :D (He's going to surprise me one of these days.) He also bought me some pretty earrings while we were at the jewelry store. :)

And, we're going out to dinner with my parents tonight :)
