I had gotten more dances when I went to bed so those will have to wait next year.

Not sure how I'll add the giving flower to my note pad since one year I wanted to fix something and I ended up loosing everything on there. So I never really went back to add more than just dancing to the notepad.

Ugh, so now I'm torn. There's no way I'll reach 45k hoarder... not in 10 days. I have 26k in my wardrobe and nearly 12k in my junk shop. I'm not sure if it's worth the nightmare of moving my wardrobe over just to get to 30k... At least I got the super shop one.

I'm totally going for it... :/ I'm so far behind on spending my holiday currencies that I feel like I just might make it. I wish there were an easy way to trade 40k items XD

Good luck!! I 'might' go for it. I was kinda waiting to see what happens after the uproar on the news post. I honestly think it's a stupid idea and they are going to lose a large chunk of users if they implement things the way they're describing it. Although I only have one gallery that's over 1k items, my main shop regularly goes over 500 items and my junk shop is insane right now.... The thing is, where do they think all these items are to go? They still exist. Creating more shops/galleries is putting more data on the server. Reducing traffic to shops isn't going to change. People are still going to quest. If you don't want them going to shops, nerf half the questing. And I'm sure that's just going to piss everyone off too. I hoard. I like to hoard. It makes life easier when stuff happens like achievements, genetech combos, alchemy combos, questing, etc... not to mention birthday/luminaire gifting to my friends! I can just reach into my hoard and pluck the items out and use them.

I kind of thought of moving all my stuff together just to see how high I can get - probably around 20k range. But, I am torn by the idea of leaving my two galleries intact, since they both have well over 500 items and I enjoy them as-is. I couldn't imagine having to separate everything out again in time.

So everything should just be in our vault I guess?

Edit: I have approx 3,500 items in one gallery, 2,800 in another, 4,400 in my hoarding gallery, 1k in my vault and almost 13,400 in my wardrobe :|

after reading through all the muck, I've come to this conclusion: We don't have to move our stuff. The shops will be disabled, not deleted. We can take things out, but we cannot add to them any longer after they are disabled. So this 'need' to evacuate is not as urgent as everyone thinks it is. I'm just not sure about all this limitation to the new shops and galleries. Some are saying that the staff isn't really going to put a limit on the galleries, just the shops. But again, I don't think that solves anything, except to make the prices of items go up since the supply will be limited and the demand will increase. So yeah, it's just a nasty situation that I think is going to fail rather quickly.

The wardrobe is a mess too. And yeah, it's probably because of the size of it. But really? That's one of the core themes on this site. If they mess with that, then they're seriously going to lose more people. I hope they don't get rid of the 15k achievement before you get there! You're too close! The great thing about Subeta is that they DO listen.... at least to a certain extent. I doubt seriously that they would ignore the 600+ comments they have gotten in the past 15+ hours. If they did, then they are stupid.

The biggest problem with their plan is that 10 days just is not enough for testing this. I understand going into it bare minimum for testing because, you're just testing. But it should come with a simple, "Hey, we're testing out this new system that will eventually be implemented once we get the levels figured out. For now they're ridiculously small for ease of testing so don't panic." type announcement. But that should go on for a long while, increasing the limit until they feel like it's maxed out. And THEN come to the community letting them know the results and giving them some time to get ready. Not, "Hey we're trying this out, and regardless of how it goes, it's live in ten days! :D " ... MASS PANIC --Reeeeeally tempting to post a shit storm gif in the news right now--

And the next biggest issue, that they intend to push this change through before implementing a realistic way to move items. I get that they don't want everyone to move 40k items at once, but at least something like quickstock or vault, where you can move select all 50-100 items at a time. Instead of having to click every. single. drop down menu. on. the. page. X^X

Whoever pointed out in the news that the reality of this will be that everyone leaves their giant shops and just creates new ones to fill was spot on. No one is going to want to move all that crap, and even those who try will only be able to go so fast. And unless they do some MAJOR work during testing, those tiny limits will be able to be filled daily anyway so there will be no room for the old shop items. I don't even want to think about what this might do to shop prices/availability. I hope the endgame limit is more like 5k That's not a hoard/stash but it would still work for shops to actually function. Then our stashes for achs/gifts will have to be in our vaults I suppose. That's where mine was anyway before I started trying to really chase the hoard ach.

I just hope it all pans out. Or maybe not who knows. Life, right? I think about all the time I've dedicated here and the little money I've thrown at it and I think, what a waste. Like really, when it comes down to it, regardless of how long this site lasts, it's ephemeral, intangible, temporary. I'm literally wasting my time LOL But dammit it's how I want to waste it I guess. So for the sake of my addiction I want the site to live, but honestly I would probably be way better at life/adulting without it. XD I'm not exactly a facebook junkie and this place only got it's claws in me because of you all <3 So I don't think there would be another site for me after this. I'd definitely miss you guys though </3 I'm terrible at keeping in touch so I'd just be even more alone. Or maybe I'd finally leave the house and meet people... naaah probly not. LOL

Anyway, I decided to work on my wardrobe achievement just in case. I updated my collection with subetalodge and bought a handful of cheap things, along with picking up wearable items I needed from the menagerie through 2014. I think I still have many 2015 and 2016 items to buy too.

Filled Wardrobe 13,500 / 14,000

Thanks . I think I'll have enough - I just have to convert a bunch of lounge trinkets to menagerie ones. I really only buy lounge stuff I really like or for achievements.

I must usually be busy during masquerade; I had so many old items to purchase. I started with about 8k trinkets banked and am down to about 2k, even with all the dances this year. But, I had so many items to buy from previous years that I only got the things I really liked from the past 2 years so far.

I did post on the Lairbear's thread my views but I will say I"m not to happy with the size limitation but I'm glad they will turn off the shop achs since that kind of driving me away. My gallery shop has 43800 items with 21574 being unique. It would be to much of a bother to get the hoarding ach now. Though I"m glad I can at least get rid of some things I don't want anymore.

I've started buying from the steamworks shop now. I'd like to see how high I can get on the achievements before they are gone for good. This change has definitely started something and might not be for the good.
