We did have a small swarm of nanide-infested non-living's here a while back...we sent them to the Islanders and they were never seen again...odd. No telling where they came from though. For creatures who were mute, they sure could 'sign' a lot. It's like we couldn't get a 'word' in edgewise. They were gesturing with their stumps, appendages and reattachments so much that the friction caused the temperature of the air to rise a few degrees making the rotting flesh smell even worse.

I ate the MREs in my earthquake kit before they expired, and the peanut butter was not in a can it was in a foil squeezy thing like a large fast-food ketchup packet and you needed to knead the oil back into it before opening. There weren't any cookies, the coconut ranger bars were close though.

Congrats! I'm only missing one shirt for the red shirt ach. I hope to get it in a few weeks when the prices go back to normal.

Weldon makes MRE's to pack in our transport ship and in my fighter jet in case we get stranded and they are pretty basic: jerky, dried fruit and nuts, instant heating coffee ( it heats immediately when you poke the little straw into the foil pouch and lets air in. ) you know, stuff like that. Oh, and there's a breakfast MRE that has shelf stable hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, toast, marmalade, tomatoes, beans, bacon, bangers and watermelon. He's working on one for dinner that includes prime rib with horseradish, 1972 Napa Valley Zinfandel wine, baked potato, roasted beets, kale and pine nut salad with balsamic vinagrette dressing, creme brule and tawny port. I think it comes with a dehydrated waiter...just add water and a gratuity.

It may drop faster than that.

I hope so. I'll check it again in a day or two.

Yours sound better than ours/healthy at least....the omlette was an ugly mess with ham pcs.our bacon was in a can from Australia called trillium...very salty and full of fat.The powdered potatoes would burn blue when ignited...LOL

: Well, truth be told, our jerky is made from mouse and our bacon is snake. But with the right spices and proper treatment in the smokehouse, it's quite lean, very tasty and not tough at all, though there are not many humans who can get past the words "mouse jerky."

I have one of the two expensive books for Lost in Space chhievement, I mgoing to watch the price for the other book. Then I will try what you are doing with the star belts.

I got lucky. I also found the star tattoo I needed in hoarding. I just have to wait a few hours now for the darn achievement to percolate. I miss the days when the achievements were instantaneous.

my first two pets Magie and Cherie are aquatic they kinda formed a tight friendship? with Merana years ago even before Amy and she allows 'em to swim just about anywhere in the deeps and they come back with some really odd non-euclidean stuff. We don't have a transport or rocket, because one of them strange things, if Magie will fiddle with it here with some tentacles and turn the knob there with some other tentacles and don't mind the prick for blood in her left leafhand will teleport us just about anywhere. It won't go anywhere near the inhabited Sacred Lands, and you have to ask it nicely to end up anywhere near Peka though. Because of this we really don't have the classy in-flight MREs that Weldon has made up for you, they sound delightful.

Good thing it hides the HA's ugly legs, now if the virus will hide the whole foot. I hope one day they re-do the HAs legs and feet. Both look like Fred Flintsont model for the artist, LOL.
