Thank you so much for all the help you gave me during survival. I got up to 1093 kisses in the end - which I'm thrilled about. I'm sure to smash it next year. I'm hoping to focus on infecting.

I'm sorry I couldn't help more with kissing. I've not been online much due to mass illness in the efil household. As I reported a few days ago, my son came down with a nasty cold, then a vomiting bug over the weekend. Unfortunately, it spread to my OH and I. The family that has gastroenteritis together.. stays together..? xD

I think we're all over the worst of it now. I'm just tired out. To be honest, after getting over the illness and lloking after the two men in the house, work tomorrow is going to seem like a holiday!

So, moving on.. How did you all do with your Survival goals?

What's the next upcoming event? Masquerade?

I put a 5lbs bag of coal in his stocking at Christmas stocking, and more in a gift under his tree.

I can understand the cancer memorial. My father also had that illness and a good frined of mine was afraid to get pregnant since her mother got cancer wehn she was pregnant with her little brother. Doctors told her it's highly unlikely that the same would happen to her. So she got pregnant and they discovered she had blood cancer. She got her baby - and fell into a coma. Right now she is doing okay, the litlle one is nearly two and my godchild and the sweetest baby ever But it was sort of really hard. It still is hard sometimse since she can never go to the swimming pool with the little one - and sometimes can not even lift her.

So I can fully understand why you're doing what you're doing.

I agree 100% it is 4 opinions that these writers have on the bad side of things...and the evil one. Are you still writing?My favorite book or writer is A. W. Tozer....if you've heard of him.I love the way he writes too.It's the old English.He is so much like me in my questions in his one book called The persuit of God and The Knowledge of the Holy ..I felt like i was in his shoes while i read this one.All his feelings and questions were mine exactly.I`d love to have spoken to him but he passed away many yrs ago.His understanding was amazing.

: I have read Tozer, and my favorite of the old writers is Chambers, I just love how he packs so much meaning into such carefully and beautifully constructed concise sentences. I am a huge fan of Lewis's books on faith and although I read Screwtape Letters a few years ago and appreciated the diabolical cleverness of the message, it was very frightening. Not one of my favorites, but greatly appreciated. The Great Divorce, A Grief Observed...all great literature and very thought provoking.

Yes, I am still writing, although I have put off writing original works for the time being and I am now editing my first manuscript ( written nearly 6 years ago ) Sparky and the Wheezles. I am also looking for an agent.

: My Keeto, Elzie is an angel. Literally. She is in Annunciations and walks about the world naked as a jaybird blowing her trumpet, pronouncing dooms and such, so she is quite busy. She earned that promotion after she rescued a small child in her Keeto form. I don't see her much anymore, although I'm sure she is watching over me.....

I have some of Lewiss books ill look that other one up Chambers..Good for you on doing your first manuscript.Good luck on finding a good agent too.Ill say a special prayer for you. :)Man the Dwelling Place of God by A.W. Laurie already knows this but I'll sort of warn everyone else, I guess, that I'm really not the most talkative person most of the time. I suffer from anxiety, among other things, and when I talk it's usually either short and simple or it's a rambling mess. So I guess that's basically to say don't be surprised if I'm pretty much silent for like weeks at a time and then come in on a topic with an essay in hand. Note: It will (probably) not actually be an essay.

In other news, I was awake for a good twenty hours yesterday, most of which was spent interacting with other human beings, so I'm a little out of it right now.
