Hello, I was just wondering if anyone here has had any success with obtaining some of the older viruses (2009-2011)?

I made the mistake of spending my sP on Foot Rash before checking around to see how many people were biting and am now close to giving up on Foot Rash and trying for a different strain instead. While this sadly amounts to a colossal waste of sP as Foot Rash costs around 1mil, there is only one biter for that strain and they don't seem to be online much. At this point, I'm giving it a couple more hours before giving up hope completely and seeking out a different strain, due to time constraints of the event.

So I just figured I'd ask how much luck people have had with some of the older strains: Butterfly Bruise, Love Bug, Bindi Bite, Pinkie Patch, etc. Before I decide on another strain.

Seems like this Pandemic has been rather frustrating so far, given the amount of time it took for infections to progress this year (especially with the glitches). But hopefully, I'll still be able to grab another strain or two.

Know how you feel ...finally reached last stage for the enamored and took it off so I could go to the Shark Board. Someone bit me with another virus before I'd even gotten to the board. (headbang) :(

I totally feel your pain. I didn't pick and got re-infected with doom bloom. It's going to cost me several days of trying to gain a different skin. Do not try to cure unless it's an old strain, I blew 200 candy hearts trying it already and it didnt work.

That's really frustrating to get bitten with a virus you don't want. Looks like you got the one I had just a bit ago (Brite Bite). I'm not exactly a huge fan of how that one turned out. Out of all the new strains, Doom Bloom turned out to be a surprise favorite.

It would be nice if they actually added a way to cure of unwanted strains after the wardrobe skins were released. That way those who reinfected with the same strain as before could cure and try again. I wonder if staff would do anything if you tried making a ticket.

It doesn't help that I'm also still trying to get over the affects of a short bout of stomach sickness in real life while also trying to figure out how to complete training hours for my work. I managed to complete four hours of online training this afternoon.

That sucks! Hopefully it will at least progress more quickly this time around now that most of the glitches are hopefully worked out. Still seems rather unfortunate that you potentially lost out on getting another strain due to glitches. Hopefully Pandemic will last until the first week of March this year to give users time to get infected with different strains. At least we sort of get another day on account of it being a leap year this time around.

Yeah, I'm waiting another hour or so before I officially call it a loss and move on. Maybe 2 more hours at most.
