LOL I'm starting to think "lost my" and "dumb as a" are interchangeable. Upended the place and shook it. Many interesting things fell out. No rocks. Stole some from the yard. Found (after around 3 hours) that outside rocks? Can't clean 'em without soap. Can't use soap for this project. (I'm trying to rebloom an "ice cube" phalaenopsis and just generally care for a bat flower.)

Phoo I wish. Got them from all over the place when I used to hike. Here in a bit we're going to see if the store down the way is still selling ginormous bags of river rock for cheap. The husband wants to do some landscaping thing that'll require them so we're going to run out and have a look. I need orchid soil and fertilizer anyway. Thank you kitties... I wanted to spare the expense for the rock but that bat plant is higher maintenance than me. O.o; (I give it 6 months.)

Who has two black thumbs? -This girl!- Usually anyway...but last February the hubby brought home the orchid and a miniature rose from some event he did and unbelievably both are still alive. I usually kill mini roses in about 3 weeks. Only killed half of this one so far. XD

The bat flower...its chlorophyll will be on my hands but those things are so pretty I have to try. I blame the orchid. It has boosted my confidence.
