Thankful that they didn't - sure she would have mentioned it. My concern for this coming winter is that the Farmer's Almanac said it would be like last year. Will stock up again as 107 inches of snow makes being out and about way too hard.

Montana is know for its snow too. One year I remeber trick or treating in the snow. But we didnt let that stop us.

Wow, you just reminded me that I had the same experience growing up in Maine - wearing my winter coat under my costume and TOTing in the snow!

Bet won. ^^ He was no fun. Spent several minutes trying to figure out who you remind him of and then went on for about 20 about how he used to walk the big cats when he worked at the zoo but never got to hold any.

it was up for guessing as to what our costumes were they were mix of winter wear.

He worked at the wrong zoo, but then I think they dont want them to imprint with humans to much at the zoo, if thats at all possbile.

Indeed, which is a good idea all the way around on the one hand. On the other you want them to be able to be safely handled when it comes down to it. Our zoo is super-uptight about who interacts with the exotics. It's seen too many lawsuits probably. (cough Nevermind that it's killed no less than 2 hippos (unmonitored water temp,) at least 1 leopard (overdose) and a dozen rays--the latter of which were on loan.)

Well I must say, Sea world smart not allowing for people to interact with Shamu after that guy went for a swim and was killed. Big dumbie didnt realize he in effect was considered prey for the hunt. Much as it would be with a lion. Now if I take that shirt home, and my 2 dogs smell it. They will never leave me alone, with that strange scent they dont recognize. Our zoo in El paso got it for mistreating the main attraction an Elephant. Someone videotape it, an there was heck to pay as there should be. I must say, I did pet and love on the lion cub, I got to scratch him around the ears and play with his huge paws. I am willing to bet he would make Ringo look like a puppy in a few months.

Well, hopefully he will continue to stay tame, though... it might not be that easy if he grows bigger.

Soon he will be stronger than the caregiver can handle, I hope they take him to a sanctuary for exotic animals. I think he is border to acting what is natural for him, he did give out a low growl, he was sayinging a polite I have had about enough. Much like a house cat, and he was giving warning with his tail. Thats why I tried to scratch him around his ears, I dont know what cat or dog that can resist that. He didnt mind it at all, he seemed to enjoy it.

I would totally put that shirt in a ziploc for future snoofs. ❤️ I set up scent-enrichments for N all the time, she's such a "greet the world with flared nostrils" kinda girl. XD

Ringo and Roxy are all nose, I think its the german shepard part of them. Ringo and Roxy might have a stand off in who gets custody of the shirt. LOL Thats why I keep my nails long, Ringo gets such an attitude if I trim them silly dog. Lucky I just trimmed them and he isnt here to give me the stink eye for doing it.

I'm getting it too to a degree. Earlier I got half set up to pedi-paws w/N and haven't done it yet (she LOVES her some pedicures) and then (oh the horror) I just talked to one of the feral cats outside. -Everybody- is giving me the glares for that one.

Nice picture and sure is nice to be traveling and having some interesting things going on.Not everyone gets to play with the lions....i have pet a cheetah and that coat was short and wirey....the animal was 100% muscle and wound up tighter than a spring.What beatiful animals they are.I was at one of those cat shows in Seattle.He was in the lobby before you got into the show itself and he was on a leash with diamond studs all over it. How are you all
