Our huge municipal halloween party is kind of a whimper this year, hardly anyone is walking there. Maybe it's the Monday? Californians deal poorly with the rain, but that was yesterday. The best costume I saw was a lacy dark angel in black, with a well-floated fluffy black halo. I did see a Disney princess (elsa) at the local convenience store.

Perry had a Halloween scare, he lost his house keys and the fancy fob to his car. Turns out they were on his bathroom sink. Now he is ordering chinese for delivery so that will be the treat.

's pups, Danny and Olivia were dressed up like Darth Vader and a T.A.R.D.I.S. from Dr. Who. Olivia's costume came from Hot Topic and is adorable. dressed up as a halloween hospital patient, and dressed in a very clever sugar skull outfit. I hope they send me pictures so that I can post them here.

The wee creatures of Glen Meadow don't dress up in scary costumes because we don't have occult, spiritualistic or ritualistic traditions. We do have a harvest celebration on October 31 and we do go from den to den greeting our neighbors, wearing costumes, playing tricks and handing out treats, decorating with gourds, cornstalks, and horns-o-plenty. There is a dance, lots of great food, ale, spirits, cider, and cocoa ( we get that from the humans, it's essential. ) So, Happy Halloween, Happy Morostide, and Happy Harvest Ingathering to all my friends and loved ones.

hi all, sorry havent been active for a few days been mega busy, hope everyones well :)

Heheh, I had a bit of excitement today. I was going out to pick up groceries from WalMart and as I left I slammed my front door to close it good. I saw something fall and when I looked down at the porch I saw a wasp. I walked around it and happened to glance up at my porch light. It was COVERED in wasps and I had a quiet freak-out. I got out to the car as quick as I could and called an exterminator and arranged to meet him when I got back. When he sprayed wasps just POURED out of the light fixture. There were between 50 to 100 easily. He said something about a hatching so I'm assuming I just happened to catch them at the right time. Ugh, I'd just as soon never see a wasp again.

Anyone got a list of this years Morostide items from both ToT and the Pumpkin Patch?

There's a very pretty mud-dauber wasp's nest behind my porch windchimes. We had a lot of crickets and house centipedes this year, so she was likely having herself a feast.

It's odd that Subetalodge doesn't have a list or that there's no aggregator thread in the Morostide forums. -====

Congrats I dont htink my 2 dogs would appreciate costumes, unfortunately Mud daupers got our front porch too.Didnt know until the pizza guy came, I so would have been annoyed if that mess landed on my nice hot pizza.
