LOL ~ that is sooo familiar. Our masks would end up plastered to our faces with sweat and some costumes were so dang itchy. :) When we got home we'd dump our sacks out on the dining room table and our mom would grab two mixing bowls to put our hoard into. Then we got to picks 3 items to have right away. The dentists loved Halloween...and probably still do (ha,ha,ha).

Taking your granddaughter around must be a blast ~ grandparents get to relive all those special moments with the little ones! 😸 ❤

Laurie promises to tell us what's going on when she gets back up to speed y'all. I don't know anything more. Probably try to talk to her this weekend when I get a chance. I had a crazy day today. It was my oldest daughter's first day back at work since the baby was born and my sister who is usually home with me had a Doc Appt. My niece, who also has a newborn, took her to her appt and left her baby here as well. Sooooo... It was just me, two baby's under a month old and my mom with Alzheimers. The opportunity to get online was nil! When I have days like today it gets a little crazy. I got nothing to do with housework done other than folding a load of towels. I am behind! LOL! I held and fed babies all day, changed diapers and just rocked them. Watched a whole season of Master Chef Kids, and took care of mom as well. She is at the level of a one or two year old now and has to be changed and fed as well. So basically I had three babies today. But I survived and feel better about myself for doing so. Now listen to me ramble on. I am totally psyched and ready for Morostide as well. I do hope I get some online time to get all the goodies! I have to go get mom ready for bed and put in bed now. I'll try and get back on maybe later tonight. Dagnabit for missing another Token Shop RS!

Hello gang. I hope you're all well and happy.

I've not been able to get online for a while as RL has been a bit hectic! Things should be calming down a little now though. I've been on a (stressful!) 6 month secondment to a different department at work but had my last day yesterday so am now attempting to decompress and look forward t getting back to my usual role.

My health has been slowly improving after lots of cluster headaches and migraines caused by dreaded pregnancy hormones. Got some painkillers from the doctors. I don't like taking them unless I have to as they make me feel pretty sick - even when I only take a quarter dose - but it's a comfort to know I have them in reserve.

In more exciting news, I had my 20 week scan on Monday and we found out that everything is fine and dandy at this stage, and that we're having a girl :D We're over the moon on both fronts. Now the tussle over choosing a name can begin XD

- wow sounds like a full on day. What were you after from the ts? I got the reigns but I was just gonna sell. If that's what you wanted it you can have it :)

- doesn't sound like fun. Fingers crossed for getting back to normal quickly. Congrats on the pregnancy. My sister just had twin girls, Isabelle and Charlotte. Do you have a short list for names?

They're both lovely names :) We have come up with a few that we quite like but nothing that has really clicked yet.

- Definitely a busy day for you! I certainly admire you for the strength you have to take care of your mother. It wasn't quite at that point for me, but up until 2014, I was taking care of my grandmother for a few years that has Alzheimer's. We put her in a home as she was becoming very nasty towards me and violent at times whenever I'd try doing something to help her or get the mail from her before she would hide it. It was rough, but I'm glad she's now getting the proper care she needs as I could only do so much.

- Ugh, migraines caused by hormone levels are the WORST! I'm sorry that you're having to deal with them. How are you feeling other than that? Baby girls are so fun! Be prepared for a world of cuteness overload!

- You're definitely right about cuteness overload! Makes me wanna have a baby, but not yet, haha! I'd be prepared as far as knowing what to do, just not financially. =P

Other than that, I'm doing well, thank you. Sickness has passed and, although I'm tired in general, I do get bursts of energy now :) I'm excited now I'm past the halfway point too. I have another scan at 32 weeks to check up on my placenta (currently low-lying) so I'm looking forward to seeing the little Bean again! Can't wait for my son to be a big brother. he's going to be great ^_^

What a tough day for you. I'm keeping you in my thoughts. You're a superstar.
