Lots of yard work today, we had an overabundance of dry brush to clear away and haul off and the temperature was back in the mid 90's. Fortunately, Misty Creek still has a small steady flow as it meanders through our property and Welly and I were able frolic in it's refreshing waters, cool off and steal a few kisses late in the afternoon before supper.

These long hot days are almost over, there is a chill in the air at night, the creek will all but dry up by the middle of October unless we get rain and the sun is setting lower and lower in the sky. The Central Sierra Nevada really doesn't have much of a Fall, it will suddenly turn bitterly cold in November, the leaves will fall overnight and Winter will then be upon us. But these are the Golden Days and it is my favorite time of year. Soon, the Red Rreign will appear in the bonfire and I will once again feel his love and approval.

I am on holiday, but this ,eams I must still get my work at home done. Not going anywhere, but spending it at home. The only beneficial part is that the kids are supposed to go to school. So I can take some naps and stuff I usually can not do

Does anyone know how often the freyalise shop stocks? everytime I go there it's empty
