My sons dont get my attachment to subeta. I told them, its better than those xbox, nintendo games they play. They dont believe me.

I agree. Video games are boring.

Some are so violent and pointless.

I've heard that. I haven't played since the days of Donkey Kong and Frogger.

If I want to see a version of frogger, I wait until I go to Egypt and look off the balcony at the traffic below. People and animals trying to cross and flying taxis.' I mean not all the game are violent, but there some that kids from junior high down have no business playing.

Sad thing, a lot of the parents buy that violent crap ad are just happy the kids are busy and off their backs. Electronic parenting and they cant figure out why their kids get into trouble.

Parents aren't the same as when I was growing up, that's for sure. Of course, I remember a time when Mom was getting her hair done, and she sent Kelly and I outside to play, and the beauty shop was right off a busy street. We went over to the alley and started to dig up some kind of wire...God knows what it went to.

Oh i know my sisters and I did things, we shouldnt have. But not much, because we lived in a small town where everyone knows your business before you do. Neighbor ladies would call my Mom and tell on us. One lady caught us playing on the railroad tracks, beat our butt and took us home. Told our Mom, and then she beat our butts. Never went near the tracks again.

That's another difference, neighbors don't dare discipline kids these days.
