I liked haggling but I'm sure I could get used to not haggling for cheaper items.
Lowing functionality to make running costs lower. Raising sp, taking away things people enjoy does not get people to stay and can make others leave. What is the goal here. What is the point.

Question Everything
I love it! I haggled but I love to do the quests and it's much easier to get through them now. I am curious what is to be said about potential auto-buying. I don't know if it was addressed in this thread, though I did see higher rarities still have haggling.
I've mentioned this in the feedback thread but thought I'd mention it here, too.

Cons:
I am going to miss haggling :/
I wish there was a poll before making these kind of big changes, so you would get a better idea of what the users want.
Um, I always haggle, and I guess I assumed most other players did as well so I'm surprised not only to see it removed this morning but to hear that very few players haggled for items.
It's worth mentioning that I never felt haggling slowed me down when I quested.
I'm going to miss being able haggle.I'm sorry its gone.
Like a good neighbor, stay over there!

Just because it's easier doesn't mean it's better! Is this something that could be toggled?! Turn on or off haggling?
I'm genuinely curious to those who are happy that the haggle is gone because now questing is faster. There's still the 5 seconds you have to wait. How long did you used to take to do a quest?
The other night I completed all (10 each) of the Wizard and Saggi quests in less than 12 minutes WITH haggling. (I only know this time because it was 11:48pm and I was racing to be done before midnight.) Am I just stupidly fast? I haggled the full 15% off whenever I bought from the main shops and even with the word code-y thing I was never tripped up on the 3 or 4 letter word?
I should also say that I have never missed out on restocking an item because I was too slow. But I'm not a 'restocker', all my shopping is for my own personal wants and needs.
I don't think anyone HAS to justify why they are happy with it. It does eliminate a couple extra steps when questing- that makes it easier. I don't encounter a 5 second wait issue when questing so that is irrelevant to me. Guess I'm too slow for it to be an issue. I look up one item then look up the other item to make sure one isn't crazy expensive and then if both are priced well, I buy both.
I, for one, never took time to haggle and have been here forever and ever. My heart is not broken and I will continue to play on, trusting Keith's decision and believing that he does have the data to back it up.
Lowering the value of items, and items people have vested sp in to make sp. How will sp be acquired. Just by sp?

Question Everything
Working on the wardrobe button, it shouldn't be popping up if you already have the item in your wardrobe.
Hagging: I'm working on a buff today for people who frequently by from shops to give you an automatic discount, but we've seen a bunch more purchases from main shops today than usual, and I'm going to keep this change. It's just a much better flow.

Not sure if this makes sense, but... I do have one question or thought though after looking at the glitters shop. Haggling does make a nice difference between that shop price and user shop price. At this time the profit has decreased. But if all the prices were lowered to compensate, and basically the haggling was incorporated for everyone, wouldn't that drive the prices down of the items in user shops if everyone paid the same price? For example- a 35k bracelet. Some people might pay 35k and others might pay 28k (please don't analyze the percents I used) and make a nicer profit for some that used strategy. If everyone had to pay 28k because the prices were lowered to compensate for no haggling, wouldn't the price of the item in the user shops go down? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. In that respect, I think I'd favor discount cards over automatic reduction, since not everyone would buy a discount card. I think some people favor advantages in restocking by way of technique.
I always haggled and thought like many others that most people did, couldn't we have a buy without haggle option and a haggle option, i never missed out questing just because i prefer to haggle
i'm one of the few who haggle i guess. i'll miss that 15% savings.
I like haggling too. I always haggle. :)

I really really extremely want:I'm not sure I like this change, I used to haggle a lot but mainly because it was easier to just type 2222 to buy an item rather than 2518...will see how this affects my restocking.
Um, no. I don't like this change at all. I see zero point in taking away haggling.
I love the 15% buff! Especially that it lasts six hours :)
I was going to complain about the loss of haggling, but I like your compromise for a buff, Keith. I always haggled and simply bought from user shops if I didn't feel like bothering to do so. However if those of us regularly haggling are in a small percentage, then so long as we have some way that compensates, I think we'll have reached a fair middle ground.
