"Bright Eyes" by Art Garfunkel Description is a direct reference to the song's lyrics. ^^
Please put a star (*) next to it, as it triples as a reference to 'Watership Down' and Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.

I feel like the "Mirror Of Daydreams" is a Harry Potter reference, specifically the Mirror of Erised.
The Mirror of Erised shows your greatest dreams, and according to Dumbledore, has driven men mad from staring into it.
Was already on that before my Internet crashed earlier. xD Thank you, you have a sharp eye as well!
Based on the folklore of The Sandman; goes under Miscellaneous.

- Can you give me a bit more information? Is it a reference to a particular song/lyric?
Sorry. The description is an exact lyric from the song Honeybee by Steam Powered Giraffe, which I see already has a category but not that item.
[tot=starbaby] [tp=starbaby] [egg=starbaby]
- alright, thanks. I will add it :)
Awesome. :) Oh, and you might put the SbQ Thrift Rat line under Aladdin and/or Macklemore (the singer). The one that recently came out. There are a lot of cross references there.

- Yeah, I know about the thrift rat set, still trying to work out which ones specifically reference the song vs the artist vs aladdin. Those giselle sets are confusing.
Yeah, I'll bet. So are you trying to avoid putting the same items in two categories? If so, maybe one category could be "Multiple" or something like that?
[tot=starbaby] [tp=starbaby] [egg=starbaby]
- good spot. I'm not so keen on the item but it makes me want it just for the reference ^_^;
- If it is a song lyric from a song specific to a Disney musical number, it belongs in the Disney category, not music/songs, just wanted to clarify. (and Mary has already been pinged for that item, please try to keep the pinging to a minimum, but I know that she hasn't updated the post yet, maybe she needs a reminder)
Not sure if these have been mentioned yet, but I happened to notice they were missing.
Both should belong in the Entertainment Franchises section.
Marvel Comics - Guardians of the Galaxy
Star Trek
, Is there a section for Sailor Moon items? I didn't see it under the cartoon/anime sections.
I am guessing that the Moon Rods are references
I also believe the new Peaceful Art Prints are a reference - I know the art sure looks like it.
I'm really sorry if this has been mentioned before, or if I simply didn't find the category in the first post but why isn't there a League of Legends category under the video game section? Does it exists? Did I miss it?
I know we have a couple of items in the site, like
Sorry if I'm just blind and this was mentioned yet but I feel like might be reference to crystal lizards in Dark Souls games picture they look similiar and even the description fits, in the game they start running away from you and disappear into wall if you're not fast enough to catch them.

Just remembered this exists... It's a reference to the runeblade Stormbringer from Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melnibone book series. Blood and souls for my Lord Arioch!
From Wikipedia
This powerful enchanted black blade is a member of a demon race that takes on the form of a sword, and as such is an agent of Chaos. Stormbringer's edge is capable of cutting through virtually any material not protected by potent sorcery, and it can drink the soul from (and thereby kill) an unprotected human upon delivering any wound, even a scratch. Its most distinctive features are that it has a mind and will of its own, and that it feeds upon the souls of those it kills. Elric loathes the sword but is almost helpless without the strength and vitality it confers on him.
Stormbringer's hunger for souls is such that it frequently betrays Elric by creating a bloodlust in his mind, turning in his hands and killing friends and lovers. The cursed nature of the sword adds to Elric's guilt and self-loathing, even as he feels pleasure when the stolen lifeforce enters his body.
The Plain Circlets look a lot like Sailor Moon items, being gold with a gem color in the middle, and I know there are a lot of custom wearables, but are there others? Shoes, uniforms, etc?
- none of the circlets seem to specifically reference sailor moon, however other items have been mentioned and we currently don't have a section for sailor moon ( - the peaceful art print at least seems to be a direct reference)
My first thought for other items were the Sailor collars, but looking those up, they actually are a song reference that I am missing, so thanks!
