We've used up our free trade already, though we do have the rug clue and are looking for the bear. If you'd like, we can share the rug clue with you and use our 50 points for the bear one. :)

I way I understood it, as long as the selection is made before 11:59 tonight, the cost is a matter of how many clues you have. 3 initial 1 free ?? bought

I make a lot of lists. Maybe this will help anyone who's looking for specific items or team members

<p>Anyhow, here&;s the deal:</p>

<li>There are nine possible clues, of which each team now has three.</li>
</ol>
<p>2)If you choose to clue-share, you can get a fourth clue free.</p>
<p>BUT WE WANT TO LOOK AT ALL OF THEM!</p>

<p>You all have a full 500 points because you turned in your HAs of your characters. Judges were pleased, and, as usual, won&;t score the intro round since those are personal personas.</p>

<li>
<p>You may choose to spend up to half (250) points in increments of 50 each to gain clues from other teams. You may only accept ONE clue from each team you decide to trade with. If you add your freebie and they ones you have in, you can get up all the formation. It all depends on what you want to risk or not risk.</p>

<p>You have until 11:59 on Friday, January 16th, to send me the list of teams with which you exchanged clues and the clue you received. For example:</p>
<p>We&;re Nutsy&;s Acorns. We spend 100 extra points, and we now have: the whizbang from Wally&;s Walnuts (free clue), the superator from Petunia&;s Pecans, and the uppershaker from Amy&;s Almonds.</p>
<p>Risk more, gain more....maybe. Or go with what you have and hope you can glean what you need from one of the suspects or the police reports.</p>
<p>(You can&;t examine the body. You&;re all private detectives and not official. Bacina hired you to please her uncle. Does Poirot always examine corpses? Additional info will be forthcoming from the police to the family. naturally, you will share that.)</p>
<p>PS: You got from Nutsy&;s office in a limo that Bacina provided to take you to the shuttle.

That would be fantastic. I'll sMail you the bear clue and you can respond there with the rug :)
so we no longer need the bear clue, but you have handbags and we don't have that one yet...and we have the diary. Can't free trade, but could do the same swap as with Reaper and you get your clue for free, we pay 50? eyes crossing
Sorry a little confused... We need to find someone we can make a FREE trade with first then I can decide who to purchase the last clue from.

I feel like what jess is saying is that YOUR team gets the free, they just have to pay for theirs.
You dont have to have both doing the free one to get it. It just means YOU dont have to pay on that one, while they do if they used their free.

I thought we could get a clue from another team even if we don't have one that they need, or did I misunderstand? I am pretty confused right now. @.@

We were only hunting one clue which we've now gathered but you can possibly buy the rest? I'm unclear on exactly how that works but hopefully GR will be online soon to answer that for everyone :)

Silver Legends hasn't traded with anyone. We have the Window and the Diary and Music Box. We could easily trade one of those for any one of yours that you have. The rug perhaps for which of your choice.
OMG you're the BEST! Thanks for the list ❤ I guess I'm still confused though... is it supposed to be an even swap??? I mean Rox asked me for a clue, but I didn't ask for one back. Was I supposed to? I'd rather use my free clue and ask @ lovecraft for the diary, because Rox doesn't have that one. Then we want to buy a couple more clues from a couple other teams. Blah, hold on the diary request. My team said they want the music box LOL
I am not sure how this clue thing works. If it is an even trade or not or you get one free one from some team and then the rest are asked for. confused look Typically, I make handle all the thinking stuff. LOL. He has had a few busy days tho and he is making me do it.
lol, well at least I'm not alone in the confusion. Perhaps I will ask Rox for the music box clue since she asked me for the teddy bear.... I dunno. I've had a really long and stressful week and I've got a wine cooler in me, so my mind just wants to chill.... NOT think!!
