there could be a plot where Quentin realizes he has magic powers and is related to the wizard, then goes off to school where he learns more powers but has to fight some evil villain who kills everyone he comes across? has to solve a series of puzzles to find the powerful item before the evil villain does, but the villain beats him to it so they face off there? I'm full of plot ideas. I should watch more movies.

I finished them all last year thankfully. just need the big boss :c no, I think the vast majority of (battlers) want a gelatin war. who knows if the typical user cares.

I've held out a lot of hope for things with less of a chance than that ;(

awesome about the mage! any chance he'll be similar to mutant where you get him for unlocking all 12 of the signets? it is an elemental theme, and he seems like quite the elementalist.

Haha, Gelatin War. Glad I got my Slayer last year, but sucks for those of us who hadn't quite made it to the core yet.

Kinda like how they axed the Shrieks the year I was finally able to beat Nightlady ten times. Ten wins and no Shrieks, sux for bad luck - thank Shinwa I was super lucky and got one from my measly four wins the year before.

Sometimes 'stale' is ok when it's something that includes an extremely rare and difficult-to-obtain, very useful tool for our armories.

there are 6 other ideas I have too. one about a hidden chamber quentin finds, then there's one about some prison and his uncle escapes from it, one about a tournament he mysteriously gets entered in...

there could be one where some characters go to the mountain in the darkside to take back their home and treasure that's guarded by the evil dragon Smog. see? I'm full of original ideas

agreed about the stale being okay. the year I fought nightlady was her last year, got a shriek on my 6th win, which was also the last win I could manage.

idk, I would just be happy if it was consistent. I like to hoard my amulets and do them all at once, and there have been times where I've turned in several dozen and gotten maybe three tomes. My worst was 39 amulets and no tomes.

that's the problem with a fairly low rate and a small sample size. random number generator can't guarantee you'll always have a consistent rate. sometimes you just get screwed (which is more often than not with me, but I've been having better luck using amulets as I get them lately)

I am sad about a slim chance for a Gelly war but hey as long as battles will happen then I will manage! Looking forwards to any and everything to come!
