I think I have earned enough CSC to buy a Sentinel so I might go grab one after all the talks... I have a Prehistoria, I made it as a TC item originally, but it went into my armory instead of the TC haha. I like using it, I just hit tier 8 today so I think it may still be useful for awhile. Plus I like looking at it. :D

Does it have custom code that boosts the number of icons it does? Or does it always only do 15-25 icons?

Because if it really only does 16-25 icons, RIWoD does 24 constant + 2 mods (32 icons with parched), with a 10% heal.

So if it doesn't have any other custom code, its actually pretty bad by itself for Tier 8. I used to think it was a good weapon, so maybe it has some custom code I'm forgetting about?

It used to be 13-22.

Attack: 1-2 Physical, 1-2 Dark, 1-2 Ice, 1-2 Magma, 1-2 Wind, 2-3 Fire, 2-3 Earth, 2-3 Light, 2-3 Water Defense: 1-2 of every icon Heal: 7%

If I remember correctly, increasing the max range of the weapon actually has very little effect on the effective damage output, especially when the ranges are spread over several icon types.

For example, the odds of actually doing max damage with Senitel are (1/2)^9 or 0.19%, which is also why the odds of hitting for max damage on Reflection blade are crazy low (0.000019% Chance of hitting max).

The other 2 Tier 8 healers (Purple Spider Toy and Prodigy staff, both start at 24 and 25 icons, which is interesting since RIWoD also starts at 24 icons, but also has mod slots). Sentinel is also the most expensive of the 3.

492 stats till tier 13 for us. Slow, slow, slow but we'll get there.

Thats why I used to like it, I forgot how those blessings/curses stacked since its pulling a new one each time.

I know the other Tier 8 weapons have very strong curses/blessings as well though, but I forget how often they activate.

Personally I like the legendaries just for the pretty factor :P I was stalking out the aemis in the TS so I could combine it with my shini for a mourning. Sadly I missed it, but I'm just going to resume skulking around keeping an eye out for another legendary ;)

Interesting to hear about the scroll haul. I imagine it's a long way off, but would be keen to see the changes.

That was actually a lot easier that I anticipated. Now I can beat all BQ challengers through level 20 with a Tier 6 pet.

At tier 7 I think I will be able to immediately beat Cursed Effigy and Saggi on an inconsistent basis, Gate Keeper and Sand Dragon are probably going to take until late Tier 7 if not Tier 8 or 9

I made the ping group if anyone needs help remembering to do BQs o-o idk how useful it'll be, but I almost always do them at midnight and thought maybe a few people need the reminder.

2 amulets from Quentin and more damn shards from the Mage. Ugh what an ass! Oh well. :c
