I'm not sure I'd ever spend that much on a t7 weapon. I'm sure since they were buffed that they could be useful, but I think they're out of the price range for a lot of t7 battlers.

I don't think the legendaries will ever formally be worth their price tags, unless that price tag was like 20m. For 40-50m for a legcombo that's decent to depend on that's not bad.

Tier 6/7 are severely lacking in weapon options, the staples basically being TotBO (300-350m, which ain't gonna happen for most people unless they've already done it/decide to get one later on which isn't that tier range)... RIwoD or whatever it's name is (which is what, almost 40m?) and.. yeah, that's like it? A few more tier 6/7 options that are reliable and get people more used to forking over some money isn't a bad thing.

However 40-50m a pop for a meh legendary, or 80-100m for a combo that's okay if you get the cash shop thing... that's just too much. I don't think the weapons are that bad so much as they're just too damn costly for what they aren't.

Then again the siren stabby thing is 562m so maybe some things just cost a lot more than they should xD

is 20m if you get them both in season. minotaur knocker is decent for those tiers I believe. siren dagger is priced high cuz it's a plot prize, never going to be worth it since it's only expensive due to its rarity. I agree with you though, if they were cheaper, they might be viable.

sentinel sets you back 1k csc though, so if you have a combo + that, already that sets you back quite a bit, and you're probably just better off saving and buying better weapons in the next tier that may last you longer.

Why did I think each one was 24m? probably because it's been a long time since I battled with a smaller pet So there's basically that and the knocker, and that's basically it. I think for a smaller tag, the legendaries/combos could be usable but they're just so dang expensive for no real reason.

I get they were supposed to originally cost more because that was their thing but I think when that was the case they were OP and while they got nerfed their price didn't. That's not really a stab at the weapon as a weapon, but their price tags need to be seriously re-evaulated because for that much scratch you could get some reason weapons |D;

And that siren dagger is stupid priced (I get it's tag, but it's not even remotely worth that). I'ma TC person and I'd assume make a CW of a siren dagger before wasting money on that bad boy lol [edit] The stats don't look too bad, especially since those tiers are in dire need of halp... but god those price tags, really..

Would be pretty awesome if some higher tier challengers starter dropping some legendaries like our old buddy Saggi does.

Yeah that seems quite a bit of an improvement. I'm not exactly sure what they did before, but if someone happens to have one for their wardrobe and the sentinel, and they're t8, they're actually useable and decent unlike before.

I actually think those look quite good, but probably not worth buying specifically unless you happen to have one or really like a specific one.

ah that makes sense, I don't do TCs (thankfully) so I never really think about that.

They seem to be pretty decent actually, but only benefit people who want to have them to wear too I think, or already owned them. The prices could be adjusted a bit, especially ametsuchi (how many of these actually exist?) shini seems fair at 5k tokens in bhh, but the MC ones probably don't get bought very often.

The problem with the combo legendaries isn't their power level in their respective tiers, its is that they are not good long term buys.

At Tier 6, you can buy Reborn Icewand of Doom and A Replica Minotaur Knocker for ~30mil, and then there is not another 10% healer until Tier 10 with MCAB, and Healing is by far the most important stat on any weapon in lower tiers.

With MCAB being 30mil in shops right now, I have absolutely no incentive to go and buy 2 80mil combo weapons and a 50mil sentinel when I can use my 30mil weapons for 3 tiers, and then upgrade to an MCAB for another 30mil (and be able to sell my RIWOD if I didn't want to save it for future upcoming pets).

So basically the Combo/Combo/Sentianal combo needs to be better than Any of the demi gods at Tier 10, and I would argue that it needs to also be better than any loot drops like Paintbrush Blades at tier 11 since even if you go buy up all the cheap paintbrush blades off the shop search when I point out that they are under 10mil, they are still pretty much always worth less than the research notes themselves.

I would say that for combos to worth shelling out 80mil+ for, they need to be better than most of the demi gods in their respective tiers, by a decent margain.

[edit] It would also be helpful if they didn't all just follow a straight formula. They don't all need to deal 2 icon types and block 2 icon types.

They could be much more interesting weapons if it was made so something like The Abyss did something like all of its attack as water icons, and then all its defense as dark icons. Something like that, but I would love to see the god weapons moved towards something like that as well.

Honestly I've never looked at the Legendaries as more than very pretty wardrobe pieces. I know I'm well beyond their tier level with my battle pet now, but yeah. I chose which ones I wanted based on how much I wanted to use them in an HA. I don't think I ever looked at the stats because when I was at that level, the price wasn't worth it to me.

Anyway, loved the Aemis restock. I didn't get it because it wasn't in one of the combos I'm after, but I got a nice chunk of sP to put towards battle and such with the token others got to get one. XD

The shardmaker doesn't like me either. That is IF I even get any amulets from Q to begin with. That's why it's so hard to get myself to do Q's quests. 1 amulet/shard tonight.

I think he plucks the shards out of the amulets and melts them down and sells the gold. I'll bet if we ever got to read any of those tomes they would all say just that.

Once I could afford them - well, actually stumbled over outrageously cheap ones mostly only bought them for sentimental reasons and they look pretty. Also snagged me an Aemis again in the TS. Not sure why, since I still had a spare one and for way more Tokens than back in the days, but, yeah, nostalgy :)

Interesting seeing the talk about the legendaries. I have a combo lucent plus sentinel that I used back around T7. I did use them a fair bit, but pretty much became irrelevant at T8 and T9. I have an eternal and shini lying around and the prices on them seem to be dropping all the time, so it’s entirely possible they might be affordable at some stage… maybe… but the 1k csc for the sentinel, which is necessary to make it worthwhile, is a steep addition for something that is really not a long term investment. I mean, I’ll probably use the combo again as I’m building up my lower tier pets, but I expect they’ll outgrow them pretty quickly too. Nevertheless, sad I missed the aemis as I would have liked to combine it with the spare shini ;D
